    Lucifer had been spending time at the lake, just relaxing. It wasn't like he had a stressful day, it's just that sometimes it's nice to relax. Of course, relaxing too much is bad, but you get it. Anyway, the lion sat on the beach pressing his paws into the sand making little molds of the pads, when a sudden pain erupted in his head making him collapse.


    "Ack!" the cub garbled as he writhed on the ground, holding his head with his paws. Pointed horns began to grow on his head, eight to be exact, and scales formed along his body as well. Now his whole body was constricted in pain— he wasn't even able to make noise. His body grew longer and his legs molded into his body forming the body of a serpent. Spine's protruded from his back and his tongue slit at the tip, copying that of a snake's. After the whole formation was done he peered into the lake's water and was fascinates by what he saw. A large ash-colored basilisk was staring back at him, it's beady eyes boring into every inch of him.

    "I- oh dear- are you okay?" it appeared that the small cub had changed bodies, but she knew that that could be painful. Especially if the change was big; and well, a cub to... this... this was definitely a big change.

She looked smaller than she would've if he was in his lion body. "I feel fine now. The transformation was really painful, though. Especially since it was something small to something big." he responded, looking down at his scaled body. He wondered what use he would get out of this. Perhaps, in battle. Then it dawned on him. This would be so fun to prank somebody in. he thought mischievously.

Even he had difficulty maintaining his largest body, and he'd had shapeshifting for a long, long time. He'd been hopping bodies for so long, remaining in one for a prolonged amount of time made him ... Itchy. He always seemed to return to this serval body, though. Not his original form, of course, but his favourite. And his most unfortunate.

It was still painful, but not as much as before. He let out a breath of relief and sat down. "You're right, it was exhausting just moving my head." he said, stretching out his limbs.
