  • It took a while to remember how to set a rp up and how to write in general, so lets hope I did it right :D Also, Tokyo Ghoul never states that someone can become a ghoul without organ transplants... but let's pretend it's canon (unless you can somehow work it into the story that no one has ever become a full ghoul before) c;

Blood. Blood was surrounding a fallen girl who bared no scars. Crimson was dying her hip-length hair, making the snow-like colour seem much more morbid. Her eyes, which were once a light silver, had become red with an obsidian replacing the white. Her school clothes, which were a white, short-sleeved shirt, with a cream jumper and black skirt, had been dyed with blood, and ripped.

    "Hnng... Wh... What?"

The girl awoke, weak, yet stronger than she had ever been before. Noticing the blood all around her, she quickly sat up and went into a panic, inspecting her body.

"Wait... No scars? But... But there is so much blood... What happened to me?"

It was only then that she realised she had no memories of what had happened, or anything for that matter. She couldn't remember her friends, her family, or even herself.

The only thing she had in her head was a name:

    "Trinity".

  • As the girls eyes adjusted properly to the dark alleyway she found herself in, she became aware of the figure that towered over her. The figure, silhouetted against distant street lights, sheathed two long swords. though little detail was observable she saw his eyes, also with red pupils, and his shirt hair that rippled softly in the cool night air.

He took one step forward this brought him into the light, his clothes seemed average for a salary man, brown shoes, black trousers, white shirt. Two things were off about the man however, the first was the two swords sheathed at his hip the second was the blood that covered him from feet to hair, his hair, appeared to be a dark green colour, now offset with red.

Inspection of his face revealed a scar from the left of his lips to his left ear, it had healed and now left only the line in his skin. his eyes red with the whites replaced with obsidian black ran thick with red veins.

"Girl, can you stand. We need to move"

His deep strong voice echoed in the dark alleyway.

Lacking all patience he grabbed her collar and lifted her up with strength betraying his thin frame, although thin e stood nearly a foot taller than the girl.

    "Quietly, follow me"

Pulling a long jacket from the ground he pulled up the collar and took out a hat from the pocket, his blood stained from now covered by the black of night and the swords concealed beneath the coat, he set off walking taking the girls hand.

    "Act normally"

He ordered pulling her out of the alley they set off heading for a safer place to talk.

  • Before the girl could even think, she blurted out questions.

"W-wait... Who are you? What's wrong with your eyes? Why was I covered in blood?"

The girl stopped in her tracks. Something about the situation seemed sketchy and she wouldn't leave without knowing these basic answers.

Looking timid, yet determined, the girl spoke again, eyes locked on the ground.

"You... You know what happened to me, right? Why am I covered in blood? I don't have any scars... but there's no way they healed that quickly..."

The sentences were spoken between pants.

"Did someone try to hurt me? Did you save me? Is that why your covered in blood too? That doesn't explain your eyes though. Please... you owe me at least these answers..."

Of course the girl was petrified of the towering man in front of her, but her curiosity was stronger than her fear. She had to know. Many more questions were hovering around in her head, but knowing where the blood had come from was her first priority .

  • The man grew impatient knowing doves or worse could come looking at any time, he looked down at the scared little girl and once more grabbed her arm forcing her a long. He focused himself and his eyes once again returned to normal.

"We can't wait around and talk here it isn't safe. If we get to my apartment we can at least talk."

His voice was deep but dry of any sort of noticeable emotion. He simply took her had and forced her the short walk to the apartment he lived in.

The par reached the apartment and checking both ways down the corridor the man hurriedly unlocked the door shovelling the poor girl inside as quick he could. Following in he was hit by the familiar smell of the room he lived in, the apartment was small with only one room and an adjoining shower room. The smell however, was cat food, cat waste and some other smell, a more rancid smell. He stepped through the carpet of cat food bags and coffee jars to the only feasible chair in the room. Clearing it of wrappers he set it down and told the girl to sit.

    "Now ask me your questions"

  • The room was... Well... Disgusting would be an understatement. The smell itself made her eyes water. However, she was determined to look strong and not phased. She needed to be taken seriously.

"You heard me before... Who are you? Or maybe a better question considering your eyes is: What are you? What happened to me? Why was I covered in blood? Just... Tell me the obvious things I would want to know!"

Realising she rose her voice slightly, she stopped talking and lowered her head.

    "Sorry... But please."

  • He chuckled slightly.

"So you don't know what I am."

He moved towards her grabbing the side of her face and pulling it close.

    "I'm the same as you."

At the end of the sentence his eyes changed and two long thin snake like tails grew from the smalll of his back, snapping maws at the ends of them.

"Girl I'm a ghoul, and so are you. We eat people, fight to live and live out our own worst nightmare's each day."

His expression then completely flipped, his joking face turned to one of stern seriousness.

"As for why I'm covered in blood, there were two men chasing you. As to why you're covered in blood I was hoping that you knew, which i guess you don't."

  • The girl couldn't even begin to comprehend what had just happened. She's a... ghoul? What the hell is a ghoul?. What does he mean we eat people? Ghouls eat people?! And...

    "I'm one of them..."

She whispered her thoughts out loud.

No... There's no way I'm a monster... No... I'm a normal human... Of course I'm a normal human! I don't eat people! I don't have weird tentacle things coming out of my back! No! I'm. A. HUMAN.

"...This is some kind of sick joke, isn't it? Yeah. Tease the girl with no memories. F*cking. Hilarious. Where are your friends? Come out guys! Jokes over! You can stop filming! ...Or maybe this is a TV show or something? Those special effects were pretty intense. Whatever it was, IT WASN'T FUNNY."

Even the girl didn't believe what she was saying, but she said it anyway, in hope that it would be true.

"Yeah... Now that you've had your fun, tell me who I am."

  • While the girl ranted he stood back waiting for her to finish. She obviously didn't know how much her life would about to change and how much she was going to have to struggle through. He turns back to face her now that she had finished talking.

"Girl, I don't know you all I know is that two special investigators were chasing you and that you're a ghoul. I felt the need to help you. And by the sounds of it, it may have been a good idea. Girl can you feel a muscle in your back. Anywhere? If you can flex it just like you would in your arm. It might feel a little weird. Around your shoulder or anywhere down to the base of your spine."

If what I think is about to happen happens, she's either a very high rating and just doesn't know it or maybe a kaguja and has just finally lost her mind. Gods I hope it neither.

He stood the girl up then stepped back. And waited.

  • Yeah... Of course it's not a bloody prank...

    "Wh- Uh...Okay..."

    She did feel something...

She flexed that muscle as told and...

    "E-eh... Wh..."

She stood, mouth opened slightly, with tears in her eyes.

She could feel the presence of... Wing type things on her back, scraping the two walls on either side of the room. The top part of the "wings" were thick and short, but the bottom parts where thinner yet much longer. The girl could feel cold blood running through her veins, making her feel aggressive and... hungry.

The girl fell on the floor, hands grabbing her hair.

"I... What... So I... I K-ki-killed someone... With...THESE?! What... What the f... What sort of MONSTER AM I?"

    She began to scream.

  • She screamed! This isn't good. She needs to be quiet

The man leaped forward and tackled her to the ground putting his hand over the girls mouth, at the same time his two tails pinned down her wings.

"Quiet you idiot you want the whole 15th ward knowing there's a ghoul living here"

So she's an ukaku, and pretty powerful judging by the size of those wings.

She looked to have stopped screaming into his hand so he removed it from her mouth, he stop back up. This time leaving her on the floor, from this position he towered over her.

"Girl whoever you may be, you are a ghoul an ukaku no less, and your wings look powerful. You've appeared to have lost your memory and my guess is that the doves are behind it. As the strongest ghoul in the ward its my duty to protect any ghoul who has fled here for a calmer life away from doves and cannibals. But first, do you remember anything from before you awoke."

  • Ukaku... What the hell is that?!

Thoughts were racing around in her head.

I'm a ghoul. I'm a monster. I eat HUMANS. Humans with families and lives and.. Oh God... I.. Okay.. Okay.. Calm down.. This guy is gonna help you so just.. calm down...

"No I... All I can remember is the name "Trinity" if that's any help. And I guess judging by my clothes is that I go to a high school somewhere... But I know nothing else... Sorry..."

Having no strength to stand, she looked up to the towering figure above her.

"Um... Can you tell me who you are? And.. can you explain what a Ukaku is? Are you one?"

  • She really doesn't know anything or does she?

"No I'm not a ukaku, a ukaku is a fast, ranged but you'll run out of stamina quick in a fight."

She might be acting so i won't show her everything.

"I'm a bikaku these tails come from the base of my spine, they're fully prehensile I can even do this with them."

The two tails move round and draw the two long curved swords from their scabbards, they move with inhuman speed and appear to be a Gray blur as he picks up speed in the short display of ability. the two tails re sheathe the swords unclip them from his belt and toss them to the other side of the room.

"There's one more thing, here we don't kill for food. I've had to live that path once and it isn't pretty, there are a few ghouls in this ward who work in morgues and hospitals who can bring us the food we need."

He walks to the cupboards that were in a state of disrepair. Opening the cupboard revealed packets of blood soaked objects, he took one out and threw it across the room to the girl.

    "You'll be hungry, eat."

  • The girl squeaked when the piece of meat was thrown in front of her.

Does he not care at all about how I must be feeling right now? ...Maybe he just sees me as a defenceless child... I would if I was him.

She could barely even bring herself to look at the bloody object. And she was expected to eat it.

"You really expect me to eat... this?"

She accidentally glanced at the object... And she wasn't repulsed... At all. In fact... The girl felt like she hadn't eaten in weeks, and all she wanted was to devour the meat. It made the girl feel... Cannibalistic, to put it lightly. She lowered her head, and allowed her long hair to cover her face, while she nibbled whatever body part it was.

I bet he's smirking at me right now

While she was nibbling, she realised that she hadn't had all of her answers.

"So... I never got your name... And you still haven't really explained who was chasing me... or why I was covered in blood... though I think I know"
