    Poppypaw paced around camp looking for other apprentices. Would she ever find a friend?

    Nettlepaw saw Poppypaw and walked over to her. "Hello," he meowed. "I'm Nettlepaw."

    Poppypaw looked at nettlepaw. "Hi, Im Poppypaw. I dont think Ive seen you before." her blacand white pelt gleamed in the setting sun.

    "No, I don't remember you either," Nettlepaw meowed. "But I have the memory of a baby mouse." His green eyes sparkled.

    Poppypaw laughed. He seems nice, she thought. "Well its nice to meet you Nettlepaw."

    Nettlepaw smiled. "Nice meeting you too," he meowed. She's very pretty, he thought.

    "who is your mentor? I got Moontail. She's really good!" Poppypaw mewed, her blue grey eyes shining.

    "I have Roughpelt," Nettlepaw replied. "He doesn't always praise you, so you know you've done a good job when he does." His brown and white tabby pelt shone.

    Poppypaw smiled as an idea formed in her head. "Wanna go hunting?! I can go ask Moontail now!"

    Poppypaw purred. "Nice catch!" she mewed. She scented a rabbit and pounced, killing it with a swift bite.

    "You too!" Poppypaw mewed giggling. She cought a vole and put it beside her Rabbit.

    Nettlepaw purred. Then he felt eyes watching them. He turned, not seeing anyone. He looked back at Poppypaw.
