  • Aidan nodded slowly and swallowed quietly. "Okay, your turn to ask me something, and I'm going with truth," she told him, biting the inside of her lip.

  • Aidan's eyes widened. "Okay, so five is David, because we agreed that if we weren't married when we were 40, we would hook up," she explained. Then, she listed some random people for four, three, and two. "As for one . . . I'm not sure," she lied, but maybe it wasn't all a lie. After all, she believed Illidan's lie, so she wasn't sure if Illidan should be number one. Heartbeat picking up speed, she just couldn't lie anymore. "Actually, I do know," she said, her face becoming very flushed. "It's . . . it's . . . " Taking a deep breath, she closed her eyes tightly and quickly told him, "It's you! Okay, I know, that's wrong because we're best friends and you're into someone else. I just . . . " Some tears rolling down her face, she laid her head on her arms. "I just really like you, and I have liked you since we got really close."

  • -- When she kept saying "It's..." Illidan decided he would try joking around and just as she had said 'It's you!' he exclaimed, " Panda! Oh... " Talk about awkward. He was about to crack another joke, but then he saw her crying. His eyes grew wide and his mouth was open slightly, his expression read 'what the hell there is a girl crying help me'. Crap! Since she told him, maybe he could tell her his 'number one' was a lie? But he wasn't totally sure, even though it was a freaking sign when she was the first girl he thought of when it was his turn. He quickly got up and walked to her chair, wrapping his arms around her waist and leaning on her, giving her an awkward hug, " Hey, don't cry... it's, uh, it's okay... " He let go of her and straightened his posture again, dumbfound look at his face because he had no idea how to comfort her. Okay, he knew how to comfort her when she had like any other problem, but it was weird trying to comfort your best friend while you were kinda the reason they were crying since they liked you.

  • While they weren't looking, Logan was watching them from the entrance of the dining room. A frown marked her face and she was wiping away tears herself. When Aidan rose her head again, she dashed away from the entrance unseen. The black-haired girl ran to the twins and Julian, frowning even more when Julian looked like he was about to cry. "This negativity can't be good for anyone, not even Julian," she told the twins, picking up Julian and bouncing him as she attempted to calm him down.

When she was hugged, Aidan was about to hug him back, but he had backed away before she could. Sniffling, she forced a small smile on her face and took a deep breath. "It will be okay," she responded quietly, nodding quickly. Stroking her bangs behind her ears, she leaned back in her seat, wiping away the last of her tears and taking another deep breath.

  • -- Illidan sat back in his seat now, biting his lip. Well this had turned around quickly and he felt bad for lying now, " Hey, so, uh, I actually kinda lied about that last person... " Because she was sharing her feelings, he guessed he would be sharing hs.

  • Aidan threw her hands in the air and let out a loud huff. "Okay okay okay! Who is your number one actually supposed to be?" she growled, settling her angry gaze on him.

  • -- Illidan jumped back slightly at her anger, biting his lip and looking away from her. " It's supposed to you, like actually you, not some girl that goes to my church. I don't even go to church. " He looked down at his hands and shrugged, " I just didn't want to tell you because I was afraid it would ruin our friendship. "

  • Aidan's gaze softened as he confessed to her. She leaned forward with her arms on the table, trying to meet his gaze as he looked at the table. "Ill," she started off, her voice very calm. "I just need you to know that even if I didn't have a crush on you, it wouldn't have ruined our friendship."

  • Aidan smiled at Illidan planted a soft kiss on his cheek. She really wanted to kiss him on his lips, but she wouldn't do so unless he wanted to. Leaning back in her seat, she crossed her arms over her stomach and looked at him shyly. "I'm glad, too," she answered.

  • -- Illidan smiled, his face flushing a light shade of pink. He wasn't sure whether or not they would become a thing now that he knew she shared his feelings, though she had held stronger feelings for him at the moment. " So... wanna get back to the game? " he asked.

//should he ask her out on a date, and it'll be like they won't be officially anything, but just to "test" it

  • | Sure.

Aidan shrugged and crossed her hands together on the table. "Maybe we can play with Julian now," she suggested, green eyes bright. "He is awake, after all."
