    Axel - Lead Stallion
"I too agree..." Axel then looked from the top of the hill and let out a fierce neigh, one loud and strong as though to grab the herd's attention. The male trotted cautiously down the grassy hill, waiting for the rest of the horses to listen what he has to say.

    Raine - Mare
She snorted as though chuckling at him. "I can be mean, though..." She muttered before looking over "Guess we should go see what he wants, yeah?" Raine questioned Daredevil, gesturing over to Axel.

"Mine was great, thanks.." He glanced over, seeing Axel, annoyance darkening his orbs. "Looks like he's calling a meeting." He muttered, before blinking back at Fern. "I guess we have to go over there, huh?"

Goliath trotted down behind him, stilling his limbs as they got to the bottom of the hill, waiting for the others.

Nala picked her head up from grazing, seeing the two stallions. She kicked up into a slow gallop, giving a buck for good measure, before slowing in front of them, blinking her vivid azure orbs as she too waited for the others.[/fancypost][/fancypost]

  • The Friesan glanced at the others, who were gathering now. She shifted her weight and looked back at Zeus. "Yeah, You're probably right," She knickered playfully. Fern looked back at the handsome bay and bobbed her head. "I wonder what it's about." She said, starting to take a few steps toward the herd.

  • Ash swished her tail before trooting down next to goliath, and following axel.

Cooler weather brought itchy bugs and occasionally she would flick her tail at the pesky mosquitos that buzzed near her hind legs.
Her ears twitched forward at the lead stallion's commanding bugle and the golden mare's head snapped up eagerly. Chocolate hues settled on Axel's black pelt and the little mare immediately picked up a brisk trot and followed the other horses as they approached the band stallion to hear his announcement.

She drew to a halt near a pretty pinto mare she'd come to know as Nala, and let out a soft huffy breath. She cast an unsure glance up toward the darkening sky and fidgeted uncomfortably from foot to foot.

She then focused back to the lead stallion, ready to hear what he had to say.

"I dunno, probably something about that storm rolling in." He shook his head, trotting over with her and stopping near the back. He wasn't a big fan of Axel, that was true, but he did respect the stallion. He nibbled on her mane playfully, swishing his tail.[/fancypost][/fancypost]

  • "Probably," She replied. Together they made their way towards Axel and the rest of the herd, residing in the back. She looked over and up towards the clouds quickly approaching, just as she felt the nibbles from Zeus. She turned back and leaned into him gently, before looking to what the main stallion had to say.

    sorry for being so inactive!

    axel - lead stallion
once the herd had gathered, he looked up at the sky and then back at the rest. "from the looks, and smell, of it; there is going to be a rather large storm coming our way. this means we have to move farther away and try and look for some sort of shelter to keep us from getting soaked and possibly even catching a sickness." he explained, dark orbs flickering around.

    raine - mare
the mare snorted, standing straight as she sniffed the air herself. he was right. there was a rather big storm coming their way, and it didn't seem like it was going to be pretty at all. . .raine herself never really liked storms, so she found it rather of a nuisance her name was indeed, "rain".

She enjoyed the camaraderie that the mares shared. It made her feel more welcome and relaxed when in their presence.

When Axel delivered his message, the golden mare's ears flicked back uneasily. Storms weren't exactly her favourite. The rain and the wind were manageable but it was really the thunder and lightning that kept the mare on edge.

  • Ash nodded before trotting up to the lead stallions ear. 'im going south for the day, in search for a new place, go north for now, if im not back by tomorrow morning leave me' She wishpered before turning around and started walking off slowly.

OOC-im making a new rule, if you would like to be captured by humans you must first ask me, and i will not say yes to all.

  • Fern pricked her ears forward, then back when she determined she couldn't hear what Ash was saying. She wasn't trying to be nosy, she was just curious as to if it involved the herd. She flared her nostrils and sighed, feeling the air thicken from the humidity that was coming from the rain. She knew if they were to leave they'd have to head out soon.

  • Ash flared her nostrils before turning 'guys you will be heading north, i will met with you guys later on' She called back turning back around and breaking out into a light sprint.

OOC- The hunter which captures horse will be played by me ;D

David Smiled looking at his girlfriend 'its just a couple of days and anyway, we will have a beutiful mare to pay for the time away, it will be fine' he said jumping off from the back of the truck and holding his girlfriend in a embrace. He let go of her before jumping into the front seat and, with his nephew in the other seat they drove of into the bush.

"Alright."

Zeus blinked, one ear swiveling behind and keeping the other in front. He was a little on edge by the distant rumbles and he was eager to leave, though he was glad the pretty mare beside him had decided to stay close. Like a peacock he swelled a little pridefully.

Nala snorted softly, flattening her ears to her head. "Storms. I hate storms." She grumbled softly, shaking her head and letting out a small whinny. "I wonder what Ash said to Goliath and Axel." She nickered lowly to Kestrel, her vivid orbs watching the mare beginning to make her way.[/fancypost][/fancypost]

  • Fern heard the quiet rumbles of the early storm, and shifted her weight uneasily. She flicked her ear before looking behind. The storm was now a defined line, blanketed across the southern half of the horizon. Fern didn't mind the soft thunder, in fact, she enjoyed the noise of the cloud's steady rumbles. It was the cold, stinging rain and the loud, spontaneous jolts of lightening that stressed her. She closed her eyes and raised her large head, flaring her nostrils to inhale the rain-scented air. Fern lowered her head again and looked at the herd, blinking at the handsome stallion next to her. They were all as ready to leave as she was.

  • Ash shook her head as rain hit her, she was runnin into storm. She stop for a moment and looked back, she snorted before taking off again in the same direction. Ash broke through the tree line before coming to an stunt stop, her eyes widened as she caught sight of a red truck. Ash snorted frozen with fear.

I brow hit the steering wheel of the car, and looked at his nephew 'we're never going to find anything'he yelled before spotting a mare poke out of the tree line, he smiled 'I take that back' he said making sure the cr had completely stop before he got out 'stay in the car' he said before grabbing a rope out of the back of the truck and started walking slowly up to the mare

Perhaps all they needed was the company of a friend to get them through it all.

Golden ears pricked forward curiously as Kestrel's gaze followed Nala's towards their leaders. She narrowed her eyes slightly and suspiciously, wondering what purpose Ash had for setting out on her own especially when the sky threatened to open up at any moment now.

"It seems curious, doesn't it?" She responded lowly, turning her attention to the remaining stallions, Axel and Goliath.

    Recap?

  • The herd is moving because of a storm and I think they are at a meeting, ash has gone off to find better land south while the herd goes north. Ash has come into trouble with humans

  • Fern quietly carved at the soft earth with her hoof. She listened distractedly to the hum of the sky's steady growl. It had a calming effect on her, strong enough where she almost forgot they were at a meeting. But she didn't. Fern shifted her gaze over to where Ash had headed off towards.

What did she say to him?
    Where was she going?
    Is she coming back?

These thoughts floated around her head, making her uneasy. But she figured it was none of her business so she shook the though off like a pesky fly and looked to the Leader for more information.
