  • Miah had remained silent she bit her lower lip shivering a little "I love you "She muttered if he wanted to dothis she hadto accept that next winter he would be running around with her she looked blankly out the window holding the box she waited till they were at becks house she then got outthe snow inetantly pricked her but she ran inside and put the box in the kitchen and Beck smiled at her "Don't hate me. It's what he wants"he said simply

  • Gray locked his car up, and followed after Miah. He shut and locked to door behind him, and planted a kiss on Miah's head, "I love you too. And yes, this is my decision." He was happy with his decision, but was kinda sad she didn't want him too. "If you want, you can go through my file Beck made for me. Trust me, I'll be able to handle this." He knew she would probably feel really bad about his past, but it's better than hearing him wither in pain. He looked at Beck, "Maybe I'll be more immune to the cold?" He shrugged his shoulders.

  • Miah shook her head "Its none of my buisness"she kissed his cheek before going upstairs to her room but she changed into some leggings and kept his shirt on but put a hoodie over it
Beck sighed "Nah for the next week it will be adjusting so you might shift randomly for awhile, everyone's different "He stood up a little tense "Follow me"he said quietly as he walked to thegarage he turned the heaters on but opened the door letting the cold in "Stay still I have 5 minutes before I need to shift back "he explained he groaned in pain his bodystarting to change again

  • Gray was a little nervous as they entered the garage. Gray didn't feel the cold at all, and actually pulled his sweat shirt off to reveal his bare chest. He sat on a metal stool, watching Beck shift into a wolf. "5 minutes is plenty of time..." He was thinking of the random shifts, and how this would effect his everyday life. And then he remembered his work at the grocery store. Well shit, I'm probably fired... Missed two days of work.

  • Beck didn't waste anytime he found an avaliable part of Gray and buyers down hard for a few minutes to ensure the toxins were in the bloodstream before unlocking his jaw and going next to the heater he kept his gaze on Gray before shifting to human and closing the garagedoor he covered his ears to not hear the screams

  • "Well shit! That hurt!" He watched as he left the garage. All Gray could feel for a few minutes was his arm was numb. But then he started feeling sharp pains in his arm. It felt like a thousand little needles were being shoved into his skin. He growled, but the pain started stretching through his whole body. And the pain got worse, going from needles to nails. He started gasping for air, and started yelling in pain. He had fallen off the stool, and was on his back, wrenching in pain. Finally, his whole body was in pain, and Gray was screaming. Often times, trying to hold back the screams with growls and gasps for air. Gray was sweating like crazy, and he started to feel fatigued as if he was going to pass out. He felt the coldness of the ground and he embraced it. The coldness numbed the pain for a few seconds. After about 10 minutes, the pain was at its minimal, but Gray had passed out on his side, his face, lying on the cool ground. Over the period of time he was dealing with the side effects of the bite, he had made his way to the garage door. Or the coldest part of the room.

  • The whole time Miah had curled up into a ballhiding her face as shefelt small tears rjn down her cheeks she hated his screaming and Beck just mumbled as he went upstairs he knocked onhermind door and sighed tightlHes goingtobe befine "he reasured and she stopped crying "GO get some rest. I will stay up incase he needs something"he returned downstairs and Miah shakily got under the covers to drift off

  • Gray awoke and groaned in pain. He was sore all over, he shifted his body to lay his back on the icy ground. He let a sigh of relief escape his mouth as the pain numbed up. Gray closed his eyes and rested for a few moments, gathering his energy. He rose to his feet, and slowly walked to the door. He entered into the warm house, and saw Beck was just coming from upstairs, "When is the first time my body will allow me to shift? Like, a week into it or what?" He wasn't exactly sure, and wanted to make sure he got all the details. He felt a small prickling in his skin when his body touched the heat of the house. Gray had a huge headache, and grabbed a glass of water.

  • "In a couple days...But I wouldn't look forward to it, how are you feeling?"He asked although he had a hunch his voice was quiet since he didn't want to wake Miah he s at on the couch and read the newspaper "They blame us for the missing kids"He grumbled he only let his moody side show around everyone except Miah he wanted her to have a good memory of him before his last shift

  • "I feel fine except for the fact the moment I walked into the house, theres a small tingling in my chest..." Gray shrugged it off, and could wait forever for the first time he shifts. It seemed painful.
Gray rolled his eyes as Beck spoke about the newspaper, "Yeah, well screw that, it's just a bunch of gibberish." Gray looked around and noticed Miah had gone upstairs. He probably shouldn't bother her right now. Gray sat on the couch next to Beck, and laid his head back, growling as the pain in his chest got a little worse.

  • "Probably because the sudden change of tempreture and being around other wolves..Did Miah mention that Wolves have this ability to Picture send, We don't have any proper thoughts only instinctive ones so if we need to explain or show something we think about it and a picture forms, like when we were getting hunted Paul the leader was sending pictures of the stream saying we should go there"He explaine scrunching the newspaper up and throwing it in the bin he sighed and watched the dark of the night so peaceful.

  • Gray thought about the different changes and how it will effect him, "Hmmm, no she didn't." He watched the newspaper as it was crumbled and thrown, and landed in the trash. The darkness surrounded the two, and you could only hear a faint ticking from a clock. Gray winced when he stood up, "Well, we should all be getting some rest now..." He's heart was throbbing with pain, but he pushed it away. It's only because you're new to it, get a hold of yourself Gray! He clenched his fists, distracting himself from the pain.

  • "You can share Miahs room kf not try one of the empty ones"Beck said standing up "Night Gray"he said before walking upstairs he made mental noted lf whathe needed tobuytomorrow. Miah was dreaming her and gray running around free on the icy forest floor before the hunter came at them

  • Gray nodded towards Beck as he watched him go upstairs, "Goodnight." Once he was out of sight, Gray furrowed his eyebrows and gritted his teeth in pain. He gripped his shirt, slightly digging his stubby nails into his skin around his heart area. By now, he could feel his whole body tickling with pain. Gray knew he couldn't let Miah see him in this state, so he went back out to the garage. Gray sighed and embraced the cool air that came in through the floor. He stripped his shirt, and laid his back on the icy cold ground. The pain gradually disappeared and he fell asleep on the ground.

  • The next morning Beck was making pancakes in the kitchen gently flipping them because it was an easy distraction of what he had to do today all this paperwork and grocery shopping since the house was inhibited again he sighed.
Miah woke up and hopped in the shower emerging 15 minutes later with a towel wrapped around herself she dried off and put on her leggings and long t-shirt before running downstairs happily. Her ember like hair still wet and slightly curly.

  • Gray woke up, his nose smelling the aroma of food. He sat up, and stretched lightly yawning. He opened the door of the garage, scratching the back of his head. "Good morning princess, Beck." He stepped into the warm house, and lightly flinched at the heat. He closed the door behind him and walked up to Miah, hugging her wait and pulling her close. He gently kissed her on the forehead. "You smell good." A small smile appeared on his face, and he looked down at Miah.

  • Beck just paused "Morning"He said quietly noticing him flinch and sighed wondering if it was a oood idea he had turned him or not.
Miah laughed "Yeah coconut"She explained hugging him tight she sniffed him and smiled already she could sense his wolf scent she let go of him and kissed his cheek "How are you feeling?"She asked knowing there was no point in being moody that he had choosen to become a wolf to stay with her it was actually quite sweet.

  • Gray smiled, "I'm actually feeling really good. The only weird thing is I still like being out in the cold." He slightly frowned. Is my body different? Is it that gang that killed my family? Did they do something to me?! He breathed slowly, trying to get the mind out of his thought. Gray was lured into the kitchen, from the smell of pancakes. "Smells good." He leaned over the counter, looking at the golden brown pancakes.
As Gray waited, he looked down at his arm. The bite mark was already scabbing over, but looked as if it would leave a scar.

  • Beck nodded and soon turned the stove off and put the pancakes in a pile with some lemons and sugar, a small bowl of fruit and of course golden syrup. "You guys enjoy I have some buisness to take care off"He smiled then walked upstairs to his study.
Miah wasn't wearing her hoddie like normal so you could see her bite mark on her left arm she sat down and sighed "Well your probably just waiting to be with the pack...Its quite an intense felling when your human and they're roaming free"She sighed hating that she couldn't just go out there and shift she took two pancakes and lightly spinkeld them with sugar before getting up and opening a cuboard she jumped up and grabbed the choclate sprinkles before sitting down and applying them to her unhealthy breakfast.

  • Gray sat next to her, grabbing four pancakes. His appetite has grown over the night, and he was starving! He lathered his pancakes in butter, and syrup. He gazed at Miah as she stood up. Once he found her carrying a small bag of chocolate, he lightly snickered.
"You could have asked me to grab that for you..." He smirked at her, trying to hide the teasing. When she sat back down, he raised his arm and lightly ruffled her silky hair. It was still slightly wet, but it looked really good. "I'm not good around people I don't know. As many call me 'socially awkward.'" Gray rose both of his hands in the air, making quote symbols in his hands as he said socially awkward.
