    Esme smiled as they walked back to their house. Once they reached their backyard, Esme stopped and turned. I'll go and tell my parents just wait right here. Thank you. Esme dipped her head before shifting back into a human and skittering into the house. She quickly put some clothes on that are literally scattered around the house and went to find her parents. "Mom! Dad! We have guests!" She shouted as she was too busy trying to find some baggy clothes as she was probably going to shift again.


    Gray could hear the slight yelling of Esme as he was working on his old car. Guests? What the hell? Gray walked into the the house and walked over to her.

    Miahs ears shot up to her daughter. Guests? She walked to where she was "What are you talking about?"She asked quietly but could smell the pine...the leaves the mud on her..She must of been in the forest so she knew it was someone they must know.
    Tom waited anxiously by his mothers side. She simply stared her clear eyes emotionless.

    Esme tried to explain it as quickly as possible, "I was in the forest and saw a fellow wolf, his name is Tom and his mother is also a shifter so I invited them because- because I asked them if they wanted to meet the Alphas." Esme was out of breath. "But Tom's mother can't shift." She explained quickly, not knowing if her parents would shift or not since she hasn't seen them shift in a long time (except for the Maddie incident).


    Gray was surprised that she invited them here, but he was worried how the pack was doing since they hadn't had the time to fix it or bring them back together. "Alright... Well, Miah? You wanna go say high? I can still shift."

    Miah smiledn"Shelby..."She felt sad knowing Kyle must of died if she only mentioned two wolves...
    She looked at Gray"So can I..."she still hadnt shifted in a while though but she shifted and slowl walked outside to see them she smiled. Tom bowed and Shelby did but left her cold cut eyes open

    Esme shifted back and followed her mom out. She sat next to her mom, so she could listen to their conversation.


    Gray huffed and quickly shifted into his wolf form. His black sure still glistened in the light, but white hairs were starting to show from his old as* age. Greetings. Gray began, sitting next to Miah.

    Miah smiled "Hey...sorry we havent been around.."She had white hairs through her coat too but not as much as Gray.
    Shelby sighed "Its fine....you just got caught up in your silly human lives"she hated the human side of life.
    Tom just loomed at the floor since he didnt agree with her views.

    Gray narrowed his eyes towards Shelby, as he clearing was against her views.


    Esme stood, and motioned for Tom to follow her. She had heard enough of the conversation and could already feel the tension rising between the adults. She walked away away until the parents were barely out of sight so Esme and Tom could talk in peace.

    Miah sighed "I understand...what you went through as a human was rough..Its really up to you what you think...but there are downfalls to both sides"She said calmly not wanting to cause any fight. Shelby sighed "Im sorry...but I speak bluntly..I always have..Its nice to see you grown up with love and kids"


    Tom followed and sighed "Thanks...shes not cold..She may seem it but she loves me really.."He said as he sat down by the side of the house so they could talk "Your parents seem nice"

    Gray smirked like a two year old at those words. meow


    Esme just nodded, "She seems very nice." Esme re-positioned where she was sitting to face Tom, "Yes, that's probably why my parents have earned the respect from the pack, always so kind."

    Tom miled "Yea..I respect them because from what I heard...been through so much yet they stay strong together as a family...like a pack has to be. Although we have been falling apart in the last few years"He asid as he laid down and rested his head on his paws.

    Esme's ears twitched and she shyly looked away, "Yeah, they've been busy taking care of the family and a human..." Esme announced, "They are planning on how to get the pack back together though, they are family too."

    "Maddie. Human girl, she does know about the whole shifting thing and she isn't a threat." She sighed as she remembered how Gray only shifts when it's hot out. "We may do that, though there are a couple of complications..."

    "My father, Gray, he can only shift in the summer... But if he tries he could probably stay shifted in the winter." Esme explained, as it wasn't too big of a deal but it still made things harder.

    "I was born a human and my mom was the one to... put the shifting blood in my veins. And I'm not sure about Leo. I haven't asked him." Esme told him, sightly tilting her head.

    "You and your family are very intriguing Esme.."He said softly. He liked her a lot but had to be cautious...she was Alpha and he was just a hunter. Plus if his mother knew she may be upset or judge him "Well..Im glad I met you today"

    Esme got up, seeing that both their conversations were nearing the end. "It was nice to meet you, can we meet sometime in this week?" Esme asked. She didn't want to be obvious, but she has a crush on Tom.

    Tom smiled wide and nodded his tail wagging slightly "Yes...Yes we shall meet again!"He said happily before looking around "I like you a lot"He said before running off to his mothers side before Esme could respond.
