  • Avril nodded to Trystan, making sure to listen carefully to his words. The concept sounded simple enough, but what kind of enemies would they face along the way? That was the true trump card of all of this. Would their combined strengths be able to destroy whatever came into their paths? It was hard to say, but at least most of them were experienced fighters, or at least had other useful aspects. At the mention of food, her beast senses started to rise, food sounded good right about now. She hadn't gotten a chance to take anything from her cook, so the girl was beginning to become a little hungry anyway.

  • "Well never mind that, I will say this, would it be smart to have all of us go to the same place? It would take a lot longer, plus some people are capable of a lot with only very few people," he said.

"Can't I just go in my own? I mean I'm so ready to let this fire out, unless someone wants to fight me?" Her grin grew wider and she laughed softly.

(I was about to say something but I decided not to XD but I still wanted to say something so HI! XD)

  • [Well hey cx]

Avril glanced over at the two who were speaking. Separating sounded strategic, but it wasn't exactly in the best interest of the young rich girl. Her light magic strength came mostly from the spirit of others, and if there weren't very many others to take spirit from, well that just wouldn't work. She would have to search for some other fuel for her magic, "For the time being I think we should stick together," Avril stated confidently, "Splitting up can be troubling for many different reasons. One of them is the fact that it would be difficult to contact each other."

  • Wes nodded. "Yes that is true, then I guess we would have to trust our gut," he said and smiled. Wes then noticed how fired up Nayru was, literally.

"We'll just send me off already! I can't wait any longer," she said. Nayru stepped outside and decided to just burn off her energy. She did so by goof up into flames, as the heat increases the more energy is being used, a cheap way to use it but it was better than to get in trouble by tearing this place apart. The flames died down as she was breathing heavily. "Well now i got some room for food," she said smiling.

  • Marcus frowned t the thought of food. He wasn't really hungry yet. "I can easily travel ther by myself using shadow travel." He explained. Noon however was always a mnor probem, as there were no shadows cast due to the sun being at its highest. Of course shadow cast by objects and humans he could easily use. "As for finding out whats causing the natural disasters, I agree that we should investigate this ourselves."

  • "Well I'm going by myself, see you later," Nayru said, not sure which place she was goin furt since there were many but anything that has fire, that's misty where she was going. She walked out of the castle and wondered if she made a bad choice but it doesn't matter really, who cares anways, she need to do something besides sand and wait. She then ran off, seeing where she would end up.

Wes watched Nayru go. He ignored it. "It seems on has already gone off, should someone go join her?" He asked the others. Since Marcus travels by shadow and fire can create light he could go with her yet he could also go with Avril, since both can cast shadows.

  • Avril looked surprised as Nayru went off by herself. All she could hope was that she wouldn't be so impatient the whole journey. Sighing, she lifted herself up, casting a levitate spell and floated out the door. Once she caught sight of the fire dragon Child, she attempted to cast another levitate spell on Nayru, and tried to pull her back towards the castle.

  • Nayru was float and suddenly her motion sickness kicks in. "I'm going to hurl," she managed out, floating there helplessly. She tried to hold it in the best she could by it was harder than it seems. Come on Nayru! This isn't transportation! This is your friend! she thought trying to convince herself. It sort of worked. She then went up into flames. "You better let me down or you will regret it," she managed to say.

  • Perhaps the most uncharacteristic aspect of the Thief's reaction was the way his body went rigged, his stolen coin making one final loop around a finger before it ceased its mocking motion, clattering to the floor with a muffled clang. Gone was Cash's mask of calculatory humor, replaced only with an expression of unadulterated shock. Had he heard her right? Never had he been offered something in return for stealing, especially not clothing. Most women just pummeled him with a handbag and screamed. Void had hit a bit of a questionable spot for the young man, clothes were something he rarely, if not ever paid attention too. Upon this, Cash took the time to give himself a small once over. He wore a brown, slightly battered open leather vest over a loos-fitting, once white button up, it's blood and dirt stained sleeves rolled up to his scraped elbows. It was blatantly obvious, he was exactly living in the in the lap of luxury. This said, it still surprised him. Never had Cash been offered anything, certainly not in return for stealing. Granted, this was more like an irritated trade, but still. The man snapped out of his trance with a small jolt, leaning, well, more like rocketing off the wall to scoop up the dropped coin. Once the pence was obtained, he stopped, shoulders squaring as he gathered a few scattered thoughts, staring at his Palm the whole way. Suddenly, Cash threw his gaze up, purple irises locking with Void's. "You'd..... You'd really do that?" His voice carried no mocking undertone, no teasing smirk. Pooling in his purple irises was an electrified disbelief, paired with an odd mixture of childlike excitement and genuine gratitude. Cash let a rare smile melt his features, head tilting at an angle similar to that of a curious puppy's.

But then a new voice started to speak, and Cash's question was lost, even to him. The young theif's gaze found Trystan's authoritied form, grin disappearing as the one who had called this meeting gave them his reasons. All at once it became clear, and he didn't know what to think. Better leave the talking to the others for now. The man's attention turned to the food with a ravenous hunger. He hadn't had a concrete meal in days. With a final, confused glance towards Void, the Plague child shoves his hands deep into his pockets, meandering towards the food as everyone continued to converse.

  • Jordan stayed behind with Trystan, with one thing in mind. "...So where are we going?"
"Well, hehe..." Trystan chuckled a bit sheepishly. "When they...if they come back, the first disturbance I wanted to check out was right here in the castle..."
    "Oh...."
    ...
No other explanation was needed to make Jordan set of in a fit of laughter.
Noticing the plague child walking about in search of food, Trystan helped guide him. "I've had a table set up with an assortment just down that hallway to the left." He called to him.

  • Panicking at the sight of the flickering flames surrounding Nayru. Without realizing it, she canceled the spell in her terror. The light soul fell into a hyponisis, blankly staring at the flame. Her memories were beginning to flood through her eyes at a rapid rate. She saw it all over again; the burnt corpses and the endless pyre. An arsonistic maniac. The dark brown of everything that was burnt to a crisp. These thoughts carried on seemingly without end. Avril was no longer in touch with the present, for the moment, as these horrors continued to plague her.

"Cash, wait!" Void shouted. Picking up her dress so that she wouldn't step on it, the young lady dashed towards the thief. She still hadn't gotten her coin back! The girl wasn't sure exactly why Cash had reacted the way he did, was the man not interested in her offer? It was possible, maybe he thought that she only tailored feminine clothes? Void was experienced in both male and female tailoring, she was from a large family, so oftentimes she would sew for her lazy older brothers. It was true that she was mostly interested in sewing feminine clothing, but she was perfectly capable of fixing up something for a male, "Really! I don't have to make it frilly or gothic if you want, I can just make a plain shirt and pair of trousers..." she added, hoping to convince him. She didn't want the man to think that she would force him into her style, "but if you want, I could make it a bit more fancy than that... maybe add a hat or something." She squirmed a little, somehow feeling shy. The feeling was so unlike her, that wind spell must have really messed her up. Cash looked like he hadn't ever had a decent set of clothes in his life, they were completely tattered, ripped, and stained. It would be terrible if he had to venture out on their journey in that shape, not just for him, but the whole group would suffer. Those clothes were nowhere near practical for wilderness, and Void was sure that they would face a lot of it. Looking up at him him, she wondered why she was thinking so hard about this. What kind of spell did Wes cast on her? The girl started to feel like she missed her fiery temper. Void wondered when the spell would finally wear off.

  • Nayru fell and he flames went out. She went over to Avtril. "Got it! You're fraud of fire!" She said. She picked her up and headed back to the castle. "You should of just told me, I'm not that mean, may I ask why?" She asked kindly.

Wes saw Avril and walked over slowly. "What happened?" He asked, taking her from Nayru. "Fear," Nayru replied. Wes set her down then tried to think of a spell that wouldn't use his energy.

  • (Actually, none of my pictures seem to work Alfheim. It's probably just that I use weird links or something.)

Tallulah was only slightly shocked at what she heard from Trystan. She'd witnessed a lot of crazy things today, and she had seen the destruction caused by these mysterious natural disasters. "Okay, possibly saving tons of lives sounds great. But I was just supposed to get some stuff for my aunt and go straight back. I'll have to go back some time. I can't just leave my family with no explanation. I can help with this thing in the castle, but then I'm going back."

  • She snapped out of her state of remembrance, falling to the stone floor as she did. The world of the present materialized around her, and suddenly she was surrounded by Wes and Nayru, "F-Fire," she muttered, "Is the greatest enemy of someone like me." She shifted uncomfortably, her eyes scouring the room for any sign of a blaze. The only flame originated from a few torches scattered around the castle, but that was fine. She was safe, "My past is a place where fire thrives," she explained, "But the past is the past, I can't change it. That's all I can say." Dusting herself off, she stood up, gave a friendly grin to Nayru and Wes, and walked to where the food would be served.

  • The man gave an enthusiastic thumbs up in Trystan's direction, combat boots scuffing the ground as he mozeyed out the door and on towards the food table. "Cash!Wait!" This coin certainly seemed important to the Lolita. Maybe she was poor. Cash didn't answer at first, but rather gave the ThunderSoul a puzzled stare out of the corners of his eyes, turning to pop a creampuff in his mouth. She was rather persistent, and for whatever reason, that made him unreasonably happy. He tooled a few more moments to clear his throat, then turned to Void, silently measuring her up for a few moments before seeming to reach a conclusion. He, still wordless and totally unabashed, placed a hand on her waist, pulling her close before reaching a hand out, tucking a stray piece of dark hair behind one of her ears. Cash raised a finger, ever so slowly, to give Void a sharp poke in the cheek, smirking like the dangerous criminal he was. Had she forgotten that? He certainly hoped not. He was close. Much too close. Suddenly, Cash drew away, bringing his outstretched hand with him. The Plague soul turned his Palm up, holding the coin out to her. "You know, you're kind of weird Void." He grinned, leaning back on the balls of his feet as he waited for the girl to take it. It wasn't that he thought her offer useless, quite the opposite actually. He just hadn't known how to take it at first, which was probably for the best. It would've been embarrassing for him, a theif, to be excited over the promise of new clothing. "I don't do suits, and don't even try to put me in a collared shirt ......Or pink." And with that, he ruffled her hair. Again.

Ooc: Look at my flirtatious Bby x'D

Just a quick question, did we want to make a plot thread real fast? Just so we have somewhere to ask specific questions and present ideas? It's totally up to you guys, I just think it would be a good place for those kinds of things. (Plus i have a few dozen questions about our lovely antagonists c;)

  • (Sorry beings rushed no time to post it but I have a small idea: what if we all do go off in on it was but it teams? So that one person won't be alone but they could all go to where some of the disasters-not fully thought through so yeah)

  • Oc: That seems reasonable.
IC: marcus strolled through, nibbling on the occasional éclair or light snack that was available. He was well aware of Avrils nightmares, as well as the others. Fear was his ally, and nightmares were a component of darkness. It made sense for him to be able to manipulate them to a degree. Wes can calm people, what if Marcus somehow alleviated the psychological effect that Avrils nightmares cast upon her? No doubt they'd face magical fire, and they would need all people to be fully functional. However Marcus was no fool. He was a practicedpsychoogist and knew the mind was not easily changed. ANd changing it might make things worse. He needed more research. There was an ancient spell book he had stashed in his shadow box about IllusionarySpells and Occlumency, and it had a special secton for the very power that Marcus had. Of course the opposite rings true, MAarcus could easily magnify or create new nightmares, paralyzing people in terror fo things they'd never thought they'd be afraid of. The mind has a dark side, and all dark sides have their shadows. And no shadow was not under Marcus' dominion.

  • [I definitely think we should make a discussion thread. It would be a lot easier than talking OOC all the time. Plus I think it'd be cool if we all got to share thoughts and stuff but I feel like we can't really do that here since we're too focused on the RP for this particular thread. And Fairy Tail I think that would work, but I'd definitely want to switch the groups up often if we did that since I think we should really get that whole group bond going and not just a bond between the subunits of the group. Also I think there should be some parts of the RP where we all need to travel and work together, once again, just to get that group feeling. But I'm definitely not opposed to splitting up for some missions.]

A furious blush covered Void's face, not even a speck of skin on her wasn't bright pink. As he pulled her closer, she scrambled for words, "J-J-J-Just what do you think you're d-d-d-d-doing?!" She shrilled, caught off guard. But then... a sharp poke. Her eyes narrowed, this thief was more mischievous than she'd previously realized! It wasn't like I was hoping he'd do something... of course not! she mentally fumed, nobody messes with Void Raskoph and got away with it! She would find some way to get back at the "city trash" if it was the last thing she ever did. As soon as he pulled away and held out his hand containing her precious coin, she snatched it away so that he wouldn't try to pull his hand back to tease her or something. But then, just when she thought it was all over and done with, Cash called her something, "Weird?! Who're you calling weird?!" She raged, "Y-Y-Y-You think you can just mess with me like that? You have an-another thing coming!" She stammered, still disoriented from his previous actions. Suddenly, her anger vanished and was replaced by a strange calm, but this calm wasn't born from magic. It was surprisingly natural, "I-I'll make you whatever you want... it won't be pink." She crossed her arms, "But I'm not saying you'll like it!" She warned, turning away to the other direction in a tsun-tsun manor.

  • (I can make it if you want, I'm usually on a lot too so I have time, usually, maybe they could each get into groups, maybe two or three forums then go off to different places where natural disasters, figure that out then go back to the castle, regroup and go to other different natural disasters and yeah-I still need more time to fully plan it out since I'm usually always rushed XP)
Nayru watched the two as she ate, this time more slowly. She laughed and kept eating. She finished and got up. "Alright people, let's get a plan, I think we should split into three teams," she sad, standing up in a chair.

Wes was also eating when Nayru started to talk. He listened but kept eating. So most were set on going into groups. Three does sound pretty reasonable but he would let their people say what they want before he speaks.

  • Marcus frowned as he nibbled on a cake. Some really tasty cake. Looking aroun, he grabbed the plate and threw it like a Frisbee at the wall. Amazingly, the cake did not go flying. The plate flew into a shadow and disappeared. "I'll save you for later." He mutter as he finished the cake in his hand. He was tempted to take the eclairs too, no one was in a position to stop him. "Um sir your not sup-" The guard closed his mouth as Marcus' cold gaze swiveled in his direction. "Not supposed to do what?" He asked in a low tone. "Erm...uh....Nothing." The Guard mamaged to pull off a brave looking expression before hurriedly leaving to go talk with his other pals. Marcus turned back to the eclairs. Why Not? Items placed in the shadow box lasted indefinitely. He grabbed the plate. Arent I being just like cash? He thught. No. He smiled. He was way more classy then that overrated thief, and he had style too. He turne his ears on the voice that was speaking as he clasped his hand around the plate that held the ridiculously good éclairs.
