[fancypost borderwidth=0px; width: 450px; line-height: 13px; text-align: justify; font-size: 12px; font-family: verdana;]The green lizard was curled up, muzzle tucked beneath his tail, sleeping quietly. The ridges along his back were tinted a pale white like snowcapped mountains, oddly so, as they were usually flushed emerald like the rest of his body -- the lack of coloration suggested he was cold, his body temperature lowered as he lay in comatose, his breaths a soft rasp every time he exhaled, lungs rattling oddly within his chest. Clenched in his arms, hidden beneath his body, was the alligator plushie he had not yet let go of, its presence against him a comfort. Being somewhat isolated in his youth, he'd never formed bonds with anything or anyone, not his mother nor his siblings nor any of his clanmates, so to fulfil his needs for a ' parent ' to cling onto, he had become obsessed with a small stuffed alligator toy, which was his go-to when he felt afraid. Similarly, to emulate the feeling of a parent around him, when anxious he had developed the habit of tightening his tail around him, which unbalanced him admittedly, but brought comfort to him.
Either way, Alligator was asleep. And in his sleep, the little dino yawned, a soft whine, shifting his position but keeping himself mostly huddled up.
