• ooc: Okay, here goes

ic: I closed the car door and stood up to my full height of about 5'11 looking out over the parking lot and to the expanse of roads and buildings that created the airport. I couldn't believe it! It was like a dream, school was over and I was starting off summer in Miami! Like I'd thought countless times, this was going to be the best break ever.

  • I stood next to Thomas and looked at everything with a smile. I couldn't wait to start our vacation. I was still surprised that my mom agreed to let me go to Miami with my best friend and his mom. I had to beg her to let me go of course but I was happy that she eventually let me.

  • ooc:

ic: Rebecca wasn't the only one surprised that she was standing right next to me. I thought her mom would freak if she knew she was going with a guy and his mom. But they had known each other for so long that I guess she'd just given in, and now they were gonna take a flight to sunny Florida and have the time of their life.

  • I looked at Thomas who was 2 or 3 inches taller than me "Ready to go in?" I asked. I couldn't wait to get on the plane. I couldn't wait to get to Miami! I should probably try to calm down before we got inside. I took a few quiet deep breathes and smiled. I was pretty calm right now.

  • ooc:

ic: I gauged the area one last time, before glancing over at Rebecca and then darting my eyes over to my mom who had just gotten out of the car, "Yeah I think so-" I say with a grin, "Let's do this thing!" With that said I run through the parking lot to the airport entrance like a giddy little boy, my mom letting out an exasperated sigh, only able to walk so fast in her heels.

  • I smiled at Thomas before walking a little faster to keep up. I didn't want his mom to think I was a complete weirdo and that she would be stuck with two weirdos all summer. I walked through the doors and slowed down. I've been in airports before but everytime I walk into one, I get happier than ever because it meant I got to go somewhere besides the normal places here.

  • ooc:

ic: I sighed, breathing in the cool, air-conditioned air of the spacious installment. "The plane better be as cold as this." I said out loud, not directed at anyone in particular. Even though I loved summer break, I would never be able to get over the scorching heat.

  • I smiled starting to be glad I brought a light jacket. Looked behind me to see his mom walking in. I kept getting happier and happier the closer we got to the plane.

  • ooc:

ic: "Alright, where's the baggage drop off?"
I looked over at my mom and scanned the ceiling signs for an indication of where it was, "This way, mom!" I said leading her over to what looked like a bar with no stools until you saw the conveyor belt behind it. The lady in the hole stuck their bags on it and I watched as they rolled away slowly.

  • (((Yup :))))

As soon as we were able to get off the plane, I jumped out of my seat and ran off. I stopped where the all the people in the airport started. I stood there smiling and secretly jumping inside.

  • ooc:

ic: I rubbed my eyes, still unprepared for what a long flight that had been even though it was already over. I tugged my carry-on luggage at my back and groggily followed Rebecca out of the plane, again unprepared, but this time for the bright Miami sunshine that penetrated my eyes.

  • I looked at Thomas losing my smile "We are in Miami for vacation. Be happy." I said before smiling again.

    (Sorry for short post)

  • ooc: It's all good

ic: I gave her half a smile, "I forgot I hate flying." I tell her half-heartedly, coughing a bit and wiping my forehead, turning my hand into a make-shift umbrella.
