Ok, signed up for this thread ages ago, but never got around to posting xD
Is there still a possibility of me jumping my character in? :3
-
id say absolutely :) breath new life into the thread ^^
-
Ok, whats happened so far then?
-
well currently in the rp thread, people are training with each other, for some competition against Sabertooth's school :)
-
Ok, so can I just have my character training?
-
that sounds fine

-
Ok then xD
Dylan held out his hand as a huge blue circle appeared around it, his left eye turning purple and mirroring the image of the circle in front of himself. As he concentrated lines began forming inside the circle, in a peculiar pattern that nobody would have thought could create magic. "My body is obsidian, and my blood is power. My eyes dissect, and my skin regrows. I am a blade, I am a shield. I am a weapon of destruction and death!" he finished, and suddenly hundreds of blue lights shot out of the circle before turning around and began smashing into his own body before being absorbed.
-

Aoi's attention was drawn somewhere else, as magical power ignited the air around her. She calmly walked over, within earshot of the little intoned spell. Upon witnessing the guy perform his ability, she loosed a comment from her lips, folding her arms across her chest. "Well, that was impressive."
-
Dylan's body was beginning to glow as he turned around, his one eye was a glowing purple whilst the other was a normal blue, and a smile tugged at the sides of his lips as he uttered a reply to the girl, "That is not my ability. I need a target to use mine, but sadly I see none that provides a challenge, so instead of practising the actual ability, I'm training the actual draw time of my circle.
-

Aoi raised her eyebrow, as the guy gloated. It was different than what she was used to. As her usual-training partner Aeon rarely ever spoke about anything meaningful. "Oh? And what exactly is your ability then? Why does it require a target? Also, we haven't met. I'm Aoi Yamanaka."
-
"Dylan Shepherds." Dylan replied, before turning away again and deactivating his spell. His one purple eye disappeared as he did this, and he let out a sigh as he began forming his next magic circle with his right hand once more, "Because my magic type affects myself. It makes me destroy any target in front of myself, and therefor I need something to attack to make full use of my ability." he spoke, before the edges of the circle was finally formed. He seemed to have trouble drawing the circles.
-

"Noted," she alerted him, stepping forward. "So your magic destroys people in front of you? Or it affects you? Which is it?" The redhead asked, peering around at the guy's face. "My magic also affects me, but it doesn't destroy others. Unless you count me beating them up as 'destroying' them?"
-
Dylan allowed his head to turn towards the girl once more as she stepped forwards, and he blinked, however when his eyes opened the one was purple once more. "My magic affects my body, and my body either shatters, blows up, or breaks" he told her, then finally finished the circle and uttered the correct words and the blue lines all got absorbed by him once more, then his body starting to radiate blue once more. Finally he had an idea, "watch. This is what my ability allows my body to do." he spoke before kneeling over and picking up a single stone, before turning to face a target on the far side of the field.
-

Aoi felt the magical pressure from him, as he once again cast his magic about him. She took a step back, and watched intently. "Alright. I'm doing just that," she commented. "Watching..."
-
Dylan's grip on the rock suddenly tightened and he took a step forwards, his one foot cracking the ground slightly and pushing into it as he stabilized himself, before suddenly launching the stone. The movement of his arm was so strong that the air around them felt like it was about to explode, and a streaking light followed by a screeching sound marked the projectory of the stone before it finally hit its target, and at last, exploded, leaving a crater from the launched stone he had thrown. Nothing was left of the target, just as Dylan had said would happen.
-

Aoi's hair whipped around her face annoyingly as he demonstrated his power, with a very strong throw. "Impressive," she said, giving him a smile. "I think I'm getting what your magic does. Quite neat, and powerful by the looks of it. It allows for some error because of its sheer power."
-
"Yeah... now if I could increase the startup speed of this spell and the duration of it, it would be perfect" Dylan stated as the glow once more disappeared, and he started to fix his hair quickly. He raised his hand once more before he paused, then put his hand back down once more. "I'm taking a break" he finally said, then turned to Aoi with a small smile, "So whats your magic then?"
-

Aoi nodded. It did seem to take some setup. Which could be problematic in a frantic fight. An issue Aoi did not have. "Oh? Taking a break already?" she teased. Cocking her hip out and placing her hand on it, she snickered. "Something similar I guess. I call it 'Fortification' magic."
