Followers of the Rising Sun‏

Sunblaze woke up a little after Moonwhisper, and stretched in a deep arch. Seeing Russetwhisker right next to her, she stepped over him gently and went to be by her sister.

Moonwhisper had her head resting on her paws when she heard paw steps. She looked up at her sister and meowed a greeting.

"Hey...I would ask if you wanted to go hunting with me, but I don't think I should be doing that anymore with the kits almost here..." Sunblaze meowed, trailing off.

She nodded. " Ashcloud and I can go. It would be good for him to be away from Russetwhisker."

"I'll go wake him now." Sunblaze said, as she trotted to the grey tom, and began waking him.

Moonwhisper stood up and stretched, raising her tail and flexing her paws.

Shadewhisper woke up in Riverclan, her brother's nest next to hers empty. Confused she stood, and went outside. "Hey Talltail, have you seen Russetwhisker? He's normally still in his nest." She explained. The tom just shook his head, "Last I saw him, he was doing a night patrol."
Confused the she-cat kept asking around with no luck at all on the where about's of her brother.

Russetwhisker woke up, as Ashcloud and Moonwhisper walked away. "Where are they going?" He asked.
"Hunting" Was Sunblaze's response as she began grooming herself.

After a while of walking, she turned to Ashcloud. "What do you have against Russetwhisker?" She asked. He paused, narrowed his eyes and flattened his ears, looking at the ground. The tom remained silent.

Sunblaze continued to groom herself till she got to a spot on her back she couldn't reach. "Mind helping?" She asked looking at Russetwhisker.

Hearing Sunblaze ask him a question he looked up. "Uh- sure.." He said as slowly he walked toward Sunblaze and groomed the spot on her back she couldn't get till it was nice and clean.

"I- I don't trust him. " he meowed after a while. She could tell he was hiding something. She sighed and continued to walk. After a while, they had caught a decent amount of prey.

After the grooming Sunblaze, just laid down and watched for any rogues, or the hunting party that had been sent out.
"After we eat, we should continue on. It's not safe being this close to the clans..." She muttered under her breath.

The two had caught plenty of prey by the time they had returned. " we should eat and keep moving. " she meowed to her sister, dropping the kill on the ground in front of her.

"Exactly what I was just thinking." Sunblaze responded, as she dug into a warm mouse.

Moonwhisper picked up a good sized vole and took it behind a tree to eat.

Russetwhisker grabbed a good sized thrush and laid down, wolfing it down quickly.

Sunblaze finished her meal, as she waited for everyone else to finish.

Moonwhisper quickly finished the vole and got up to stretch once more. She slowly trotted to the others to see if they were done eating as well.

Russetwhisker and Ashcloud finished just as Moonwhisper walked over. "We ready?" Russetwhisker asked gently.
