.:: The Ravengarde ::.

[justify]
Welcome to the Ravengarde, an alliance between creatures unlike any other. Located beneath the surface of earth (more specifically underneath WindClan and RiverClan territory), we lurk in a twisting labyrinth of tunnels and caves. The Ravengarde brave the darkness and are experts in fighting in choke points and tight spaces. We are the hunters of the night, the warriors of the dark. Do you have what it takes to call yourself one of us?

About Our Members
We accept all species and genders into our ranks, but we are mostly made up of big cats and wolves.
Allegiance
We do not consider ourselves as anti-Clan or those who support Clans. While we believe that groups of animals could be run a little better than Clans, we do not publicly announce our beliefs or make them known through action.
Some Clans, however, dislike us for our long history of spying and sabotage.
Religion
The Ravengarde believes in Valhalla, a place with endless fields, forests, and rivers that all spirits go to rest after their time on earth is done. One can even consider it our Heaven. While living, however, the Ravengarde consider the moon to be holy and as something that guides them during the darkest times.
The reason for our name branches from another aspect of our religion. We care for two ravens who represent both the sun and moon respectively. The ravens do not speak to any ordinary member of our group; instead, they speak to the herald. They converse with the herald at every full moon, telling them of prophecies and, sometimes, even speaking of the future (rather vaguely, to say the least).
Tradition
Our tradition has been going on for many ages and is rather robust.
All of our warriors bear bladed weapons. They are given to them when they emerge from their many months of training during their apprenticeship. Members of the Ravengarde that wield swords, lances, and other, similar weapons can definitely be considered a full member of their ranks.
The new warriors must go to the Moonforge to receive their weapon from the gods of Valhalla. In the middle of the cave will be a weapon lying in wait for them. It is then that, with a prayer, the warrior names their weapon and departs from the cave. If they are to lose their weapon, they must wait until the ravens state that they may return to the Moonforge to receive another weapon.
The Kaiser (or the Kaiserin) always wields what is called the Black Lance. The Black Lance has been passed down from generation to generation-- the Kaiser gives the weapon to his oldest child (who will eventually take his place). Surprisingly, after many years of existing, the Black Lance has not rusted or dented.
Ranks
Kaiser/Kaiserin (1/1):
[font=andale mono]The leader of the group. Whatever they say is law, no matter what. A male leader is considered a Kaiser, while a female leader is a Kaiserin. They are the oldest son or daughter of the previous Kaiser or Kaiserin.
[font=andale mono]Kaiserin: Sivir
[font=andale mono][u]Fursten/Furstinnen (N/A):
[font=andale mono]In other words, princes or princesses. They are the younger siblings of the Kaiser/Kaiserin. Even though they are minor royalty, they are to be respected. They have some control of the Ravengarde. They may create hunting and gathering patrols and even lead battle patrols.
They step down when the Kaiser/Kaiserin have their own children, who then take their place.
[font=andale mono]Herald (0/1):
[font=andale mono]The spiritual leader of the Ravengarde, the herald is also responsible for the health of their brothers-in-arms. The ravens choose the next herald when they are but a small cub, kit, or pup by speaking to them.
[font=andale mono]Guards (0/3):
[font=andale mono]Members that are specialized in defending the royalty and herald.
[font=andale mono]Warriors (Infinite):
[font=andale mono]Members who specialize in hunting and fighting for the Ravengarde. Warriors who are expecting or are too old/young for combat are still considered to be under this category but are deeply cared for.
[font=andale mono]Trainees (Infinite):
[font=andale mono]Members who have begun to learn how to fight and hunt. They are the only members of the Ravengard that do not have weapons, except for kits.
