He was young. He was happy. Yet he died just as he remembered the ones he loved. Quite sad really, but his RPer lost all muse for him.
Riddle had been in a random house, because he didn't want anyone he knew to see him. He was planning on baking a cake for two special people. Maybe if he had remembered his fear of fire he would still be alive. But no. He was not alive.
The house was burned down, but luckily only the one house. Not so lucky, the one Riddle was in. He lay there, burned, charred and lifeless. He wasn't burned to death, it was smoke inhalation that killed him, so his body was still recognizable.
And at his burnt black paws, there was a picture. Other than the crumbling corners, it was fine.
You know what it was?
A picture of Lucid and Charcol, a rainbow above them, and in messy but readable letters:
"I love my daddy's. I can't believe I ever forgot them."
And if you looked closely, you could see a smile still on the dead kits maw.
(So sad! I'm sorry, but a lost it for him. Don't think I'm gonna surprise you by bringing him back. He's gone. Sorry...)
