    i waited about 5 minutes for the popcorn to pop before taking it to the couch and placing the hot bowl on the coffee table. grabbing some i sat back, and ate it. i placed an arm around her, getting comfortable.

    soon the credits rolled around, and the popcorn bowl was empty. i stayed still for a moment, my arms wrapped around her. i sat up, grinning. "so what'd you think?"

    "yea i thought so too." i smiled, flicking the tv remote to off. stretching my arms i yawned. "i should probably walk you back, its getting pretty late."

    smiling down at my shoes, i coughed. "yea, me too." i replied, grabbing my keys as i opened the apartment door, stepping outside and towards the elevator.

    for the last hour i'd been on my laptop surfing pointlessly and watching youtube. finally i yawned and rubbed my tired eyes. it was pretty late. i shut my laptop and placed it on my desk before hopping into my bed and tugging the blanket on me.

    [fancypost borderwidth=0pt; font-size: 9px; text-align: justify; width: 350px;]a shriek escaped my mouth as i woke up suddenly. my palms were sweaty and tears were pooling in my eyes. i whined softly as i reached shakily for my phone, the last few bits of my nightmare still playing in my mind. i held my phone to my chest for a moment or two, knowing i shouldn't call him but i needed to.


    i blinked down at the bright screen, reading the time. 3:56 am. i sniffled as i dialed his number, lifting the phone up to my ear. "pick up, min, pick up.." i mumbled to myself.

    the ringtone filled the dark room pushing its way to my ears. i covered my ear with the pillow, annoyed. who could be calling at this hour? i grudgingly sat up and reached for the phone. as soon as i realized who was calling i laughed slightly, answering it before pressing the phone to my ear. "look parks, i know i said call me anytime if you wanna fight but its a little bit early right now don't you think?" i laughed sleepily into the mic of my phone.

"i just had a bad dream.. and i.. and..." i breathed in an out slowly, trying to calm down. it didn't help much. "i n-needed to hear your voice." i put my hand over my mouth to muffle the onslaught of sobs.

    my eyes softened and i woke up a bit more as i heard her muffled sobs. "hey, you're alright. everything is just fine babe." i said, my voice low and soothing. i was already at my doorstep pulling on my jacket and shoes. "i'll be there in 5" i said, throwing my phone in my jacket pocket and waiting while the elevator took me down. i jogged along the sidewalk, my lungs starting to hurt because of the rapid intake of the freezing air.


    soon enough i was at her apartment building, taking the elevator up. i walked to her door, knocking on it.

"i'm sorry i woke you up." i softly muttered into him.

    "i'll forgive you perhaps." i smiled, wrapping my arms around her. i nosed her hair lightly, glad that she called me. i pulled away, softly holding her shoulders. i wiped away her slightly damp cheeks with my thumbs. leaning in i scanned her eyes quickly. i closed my eyes and pressed my lips to hers tilting her jaw up to meet mine.

    i smiled into the kiss, then planted several more along her chin and her neck. "y'know...you can call whenever. honestly." i assured her, continuing to kiss her neck and ear.
