Looking for a suitable leaf I quickly grab a large one and run to a clean puddle of water. Scooping the water up, I splash in the puddle making it muddy and carefully make my way to the overhang.

Quick Third Person (Emberstar is sick IRL so we are improvising for her)
Emberstar lifted her head looking at the silver male in front of her, a growl rumbling in her throat as she licked up the blueberry tasting feverfew, her eyes narrowing as she lowered her head after eating it all.

tsk tsk don't correct me *friendly shove* ok, I'll do that)))

"Thank you." Applying the bone meal salve, I press gently on Emberstar's forehead. I allow him to lap up the water. "One last thing. We need one chewed up lamb's ear (yes, the weed) to prevent him from vomiting his other medicine."

"I'll get that for you real quickly" I bark, putting the water down and running off. 'Maybe I should get one of the twolegs lambs... it'll feed us and make Emberstar better.' I nod involuntarily and head to the twoleg ranch house a few miles down.
When I got there I crept slowly, going in through a part of the broken fence. Hearing the sheep and lambs bay I crept to them. Getting close enough, I jumped on a lamb biting its neck killing it quickly as the other sheep bayed and fled. Hearing the barking of a tame dog, I grabbed the lamb by the neck running as fast as I could with the dead weight.
I made it the forest, out-tricking the dog as I went back to the overhang.

"Food, and lambs ear" I bark dropping the lamb under the overhang.

I place my head on the ground and shake my head. "No, you mouse brain! I meant the plant!"

"Well sorry!" I growl. "At least we have food though." I continue to growl, stomping off into the forest to look for the plant.

I shake my head, a smile on my face.

Growling lowly I sniffed and looked at all the plants not finding any. "This should as easy as swallowing a minnow" I growled under my breath, finding a clearing, with flowers and different plants everywhere. "Hopefully there's some here" I mutter.

Looking through the weeds I spot the fuzzy plant. "Ah ha!" I exclaim loudly causing birds to fly off. Plucking the lambs ear from the base of the stem I pick it up and rush back.

Taking the lamb's ear, I chew it into a sticky pulp, and I make Emberstar eat it.

I followed close behind Hawkbreeze, as I was parched, despite the current rain.

"What are we going to do with this newcomer? He has a repulsive stench about him!" I asked Hawkbreeze.

"Igh ghot ight!" I exclaim my words distorted from the plant being held in my muzzle. I slid to a stop looking at Falcon pelt, I dropped the plant. "I got it, now help Emberstar more." I bark looking between Falcon and Emberstar.

She eats the lambs ear, gagging on the taste. "Ugh thats nasty" Her voice hoarse from being sick (like everyone gets)
