I'll be late to class again!" He leaves the room, heading towards the classroom when he realizes that the class is already over, with students streaming out of the door. Feeling incredibly awkward, he backs away nervously as he spots the water demon from earlier.

    He smiled. "Water! There has to be water!" Waiter always cheered Hikobane up. Even if it was a puddle he could play in it for hours. Sometimes he even would, but he was happiest in the ocean. The smile on his face was unbelievably happy, there was nothing he loved more.

    Sorry for lack of posting, been busy banging my head on a wall for almost a week xD

    Kasumi quickly grabbed her Katana and bolted out the classroom door. She stopped in front of a random door in the hall and quickly took her key off from around her neck. "Now to get back to the dorms then find a place where I can sit and think," she said as she unlocked the door and opening it to the outside. She shut the door behind her and bounded off again. Kasumi quickly made her way to the girls dorm and decided on leaving her Katana in a safe spot.


    She smiled as she left her room, and departed for the nearest place she could get to for solitude. She looked over at the dorm that Valor and Hikobane were staying at. "No one should be there, right?" She looked around once more and started walking towards the building. She took her small ponytail down and slipped the band onto her wrist.

    Valor smiled at Hikobane's excitement as they walked out of the classroom, "I'm sure there's some water someplace." As they walked out into the hall, Valor noticed a boy with dark hair looking at Hikobane with a very...nervous look. Valor raised an eyebrow curiously at this, and tapped Hikobane on the shoulder, interrupting his celebration. "Hey, do you know that kid," he asked under his breath, and jerked his head in Rin's general direction.


    Takeru walked out of the classroom, telling Sparrow they should hang out sometime later (which made him blush quite a bit) and he ran out of the classroom in a hurry. As he ran out, he noticed the short haired blonde girl that he had waved to earlier and decided to approach her. Walking up behind her he said nervously, "Uhm. Hi there!"


    Shura sighed and glanced over at William, who was currently standing with his arms crossed , and a bitter expression on his face. "Eh...What's your problem?"


    "I thought we were going to discuss the curriculum with the class today, Ms. Kirigakure," William huffed in annoyance. I got dragged here to teach, and, by god, if it's the only reason he was dragged here, he was gonna do it right.

    Before Valor could even get a reply from Hikobane, the boy had taken off. "Damn it...did you freak him out earlier or something when I wasn't with you! Please tell me you didn't threaten his life," Valor groaned while dragged his hand down his face. "You know what...nevermind, I'm gonna follow him!" With that Valor gave chase after Rin and shouted, "Hey, dude! Wait up!"

While it was refreshing to have people treat him nicely, he found the water demon's way of expressing it... kind of disturbing. And he didn't like his dad. Seriously.

    "Now to just get to the roof.." she said, sighing a little. She opened the doors to the old abandoned building. Just the thought of the building not holding anyone gave her a chill. It was quiet other than the sound of her footsteps as she climbed her way up the stairs. She began to hum a little tune as she went along. "Man this is really weird.. I feel like I shouldn't be here, but this looks to be my best bet for peace and quiet.


    After what felt like forever, Kasumi finally reached the roof. Upon opening the door, she let her evergreen green tail free. "Something I'll never be used to, but something I'll have to live with." She walked over to the edge of the building and crouched, looking down on the massive campus. It was a sight to see, she couldn't deny.

    Hikobane gave chase after his master. "Hey! We were gonna find water!" The demon hissed right before crashing into Valors back.
    (It's been 4 years and I still don't know how to make one of those.)

    Valor moaned, "tch-tch...that hurt!" He looked up from the tangle of limbs they all were in and his eyes widened in embarrassment. "S-sorry," he chuckled lightly as he stood up and offered a hand to Rin, "I didn't mean to run into you like that, man. I was just trying to catch you..." He paused realized he hadn't introduced himself yet, "My name's Valor by the way, and this here is my familiar, Hikobane."

    He gave a respectful bow. "Forgive me young prince!" He said immidiantly. "Show some respect Valor! This is the son of Satan himself!"

    Valor's breath hitched in his throat and he starred at Hikobane with his mouth hanging wide open. "He's...he's what?" He wasn't sure if the water demon was pulling his leg or being serious, either way, it wasn't a matter to take lightly. He quickly shut his mouth and raised an eyebrow at rin, asking curiously, "Uhm....i'm sorry. I don't believe I ever caught your name." He smiled sheepishly and briefly elbowed Hikobane in the stomach, not hard, but just enough to make a point. "Also, I'm sorry about Hikobane here. He's got...quite the imagination."

    "R-really," Valor stuttered. He gulped and observed Rin warily. He didn't look like a demon, and he certainly wasn't surrounded in blue flames. He wasn't quite sure how to react to this information. After all, both his parents had been killed in the blue night. Valor was totally thrown for a loop. He held his breath for a moment and thought, Well...he looks nice enough, and now that I think about it, he does look kinda bummed that I know now. Maybe...he's nervous that I won't like him or something? Valor shook his head and pushed his negative thoughts out of his head, telling himself, Grandfather said to never judge a book by it's cover...


    Valor smiled at Rin and shook his head, "That-That is really somethin' else, Rin. But don't look so glum, I don't judge. It really is nice to meet you."

I'm pretty sure you're the first to not to do so," Rin replies cheerfully. "Apart from your familiar, which doesn't really count because he's judging me in a different way because of my heritage and I don't even know what I'm talking about."

    Valor grinned and replied, "Yeah, Hikobane is a handful. Especially since he seems to think so highly of you. I'm sure he'll drop the act a tiny bit after he gets bored. Which hopefully won't be too long." He ran a hand through he hair and looked around casually, "Hey, by chance do you know if there's any place on the campus with a lot of water? I promised Hikobane that we'd find some so he could go swimming."

    Kasumi got tired of crouching and sat on the edge of the roof, swinging her legs back and forth. Her tail twitched and another sharp pain hit her hard. "What is with these damn agonizing pains!" she grumbled. She facepalmed and dragged her hand down her face, squinting as she looked up at the bright sky. "I like this peace and quiet though, it helps me calm down.. Forget about who I am." She took off her sneakers and socks, placing them behind her. She wiggled her toes slightly and chuckled.
