Takeru was taking a drink from his tea when Sparrow suddenly told him that, along with her pointed ears and fangs, she also had a tail! He nearly spat his drink out, but instead swallowed it and choked into his hand momentarily. Once he finished his coughing, he looked up at the girl with wide eyes and exclaimed, "A...a tail!?!? You're kidding..." He wasn't sure if she was pulling his leg or not, but, seriously, a tail! That sounded pretty out there. He wanted to know if she was messing with him and wanted to ask her something but....he wasn't exactly sure if he could just ask something like that...would it be weird? Shuffling his feet nervously, he looked down and his glasses slipped to the tip of his nose as he asked quietly, "Can...can I see it?" God...that sounded weird. Is it weird? "Y-you don't have to if you don't want to," he stammered out quickly after asking, a light blush already coloring his cheeks.

His gray eyes were fixed intently on Haru as he listened to his response carefully, and the tension in his shoulders loosened significantly once his words were finished; it confirmed his thoughts that Haru didn't truly hate demons...but he did still fear them, so William would have to be wary about his secret getting out. "I suppose being a bit scared of demons isn't too bad. Honestly, some of them are truly terrifying," he said kindly in an attempt to reassure him, "however, your secret is safe with me. I'm can imagine Sakura would give you quite the hard time with that particular bit of information. Anyways, go ahead and tell me about your mother." William sat attentively awaiting for Haru to speak, and his tail flicked slowly on the floor behind him.

Josiah had briefly dismissed himself from speaking with the young maiden, Kasumi, and departed her with a gentle peck on the hand and a playful smirk. Now, the demon king was perched atop a building, overlooking the city and school with all it's light noise in the starry night. His slitted fiery eyes glanced blankly over the scene and he grit his teeth, "I suppose I should start breaking these damned barriers that brother has placed. Honestly, he makes me plan so much trickier; what was he thinking!" Hopping down from his perch, he padded towards a stone seal in the roof's floor. As approached the seal, bright flames erupted around him and the soft footfall of his sneakers turned into the loud stomps of his cloven hooves. In his true demon form, it'd be easy to break such a pathetic seal, and thus, he could begin leaking members of his troops within the schools barriers. His mouth spread in a feral grin, and he cast out his hand, sending a turret of flames at the seal. There was a loud crack, and the seal's markings began spider webbing with cracks and burning away into a thick, dark smoke; it was dark enough in the night that no one would notice it anyways. Iblis gave a feral grin as three dark shadows materialized before him. "Good, the three of you will do for now. I need you start destroying as many seals in this school as you can and DON'T be seen. Or else I'll tear your bloody throats out. Try not to get caught, but feel free to relay the message to others....to start causing trouble. Nothing serious, just toy around with the kiddies a bit, eh?" The shadows disappeared and the demon king took a step off the roof, falling at least seven stories. He landed lightly on his now human feet, and he shook his messy orange hair out as he horns disappeared.

William furrowed his eyebrows and murmured, "That's sounds awful...I'm really sorry." Hearing such things always made his heart ache a little, regardless if he knew the person or not, it was still saddening to hear the tragic ends of people at the hands of demons. "I can imagine it's hard...I lost my father to a demon too." Except I hated him, and he deserved it he thought to himself.

Takeru starred at the sight with wide eyes and his mouth hanging slightly ajar; he's never seen anything like a human with a tail before. Well, being half-demon would definitely allow for such peculiar appearances, but that was beside the point. "Wow....I-I guess you weren't kidding," he looked around cautiously for any people in the empty café and rambled worriedly, "are you sure it's okay to just bring your...uh...tail out in such a public place? What if someone saw it?"

William nodded carefully and spoke softly, "Of course. I assure you that I won't tell him anything." He watched Haru take a sip of his drink and raised an eyebrow at his small, but pretty obvious reaction. "Is it now," he asked sarcastically with a smirk playing at his lips. He leaned back in his chair comfortably and crossed his arms before chuckling, "Don't force yourself. If you don't like it, I certainly don't expect you to drink it." William thought it was rather endearing that Haru was giving an attempt to try the drink at least, so he asked instead, "Would you rather I grabbed you something else. Maybe a tad less strong, and maybe more sweet or fruity? I won't judge."

Valor was pacing so much in his room, he could have sworn that he'd worn away a path in the flooring with his worrisome treading. Looking at the clock once more, his eyebrows furrowed as the pit of worry in his stomach had finally grown into the beginnings of panic. Snatching his coat off of his desk chair, and slipping on his sneakers, Valor bolted out the door and outside the boys dorm. He started running towards the spot where he had fought with Hikobane. He wasn't sure where he could have gone from there, but he had to start some place. The night sky had long since fallen, and the moon was just barely offering enough light through the mostly clouded sky. "Damn...I should have brought a flash light," Valor grumbled quietly to himself as he ran from the fountain, towards the trees he could see past some buildings a short distance away. Once he got closer, he could tell that the trees were the beginnings of a forest. Knowing Hikobane he probably came here.....at least I hope so

"No problem, I'd hate to force you to drink something you dislike," William reassured him. He bit his lip for a moment as he pondered what to grab for Haru instead, "Hmm... do you like root beer or fruit punch more, Haru? I think I've got an idea or two" He had two drinks in mind that tasted nothing alcohol but still good drinks regardless. He smiled at his colleague and his tail wagged happily out of habit, making a light swishing sound as it brushed the ground below it. "I promise not to tell Shura about it too. I know how she can be. She's a tad extreme when it comes to drinks."

Valor 's jacket was gradually growing heavier with the water that was seeping in and he shivered. If he got a cold and couldn't even find Hikobane, he wouldn't even know what to do. He had originally started following a trail, but had ultimately decided to stray from the path. Trudging through the mud, he pushed past a couple of branches, a few snagging at his face and leaving a long stinging scrap. He hissed a little in pain, and his hand went up to touch the new wound. It was bleeding a little bit, but it wasn't life threatening so he kept moving. Cupping his hands around his mouth he called loudly, "HIKOBANE!"

Takeru returned the smile and stood up from his seat, "Yeah! I actually feel a lot less nervous now that I have someone to talk to...also, I'm really glad that you trusted me to tell me your secret; I promise I won't tell a soul." He glanced at his watch and bit his lip, "Whoops...It actually is super late. Ha ha...we really must have lost track of time." He started to walk towards the door, grabbed the handle, and held it open for Sparrow.

Valor spun around when he heard his name being called. He started running towards Hikobane's voice, and kept calling out for him. "Hikobane! Hikobane, are you okay! HIKOBANE!" Tripping over a tree root, Valor landed heavily on the muddy forest floor. He barely took notice and scrambled up to continue running. He could hear his familiar's voice getting louder and louder to the point where he could hear Hikobane calling him an idiot. But he didn't care at the moment, he was just relieved to have found him.

William nodded nonchalantly, "Not everyone is a fan of bitter stuff, so they gotta have other options you know." He got up and grinned, "I'll be right back." He approached the bar and returned to the table a minute or two later with two tall glasses full of a bright red liquid that had an orange slice and cherry on a little plastic sword hanging off the sugar coated glass's rim. He sat one down in front of Haru and took his seat, placing his drink down as well. A pleased smile was on his face, and he tilted his head (in almost a puppy like manner), "Give this one a try. It'll probably be more to your liking." William had already finished his first drink earlier, and it'd be a long while for the alcohol to take affect on him, but it usually made his demon side a lot more prominent. Not so noticeable in a ferocious way, but he always loosened up a little bit and got more playful. He really wasn't too worried about Haru being suspicious of anything though. He look a sip of his own drink, and licked the sugar from his lips with a grin, "So, what dya think, Haru?"
