  • Jacob closed his eyes as he took a breath, "I want to break the law, I want to risk getting into god knows how much trouble." His hands shook as he hugged her tightly to his body, almost afraid to let her go.

  • Tori wasn't sure what exactly Jacob meant by that but Tori had her ideas. Instead she respond with her own sly comment "You only get in trouble if you get caught" Tori informed him coyly, as of daring him to try these actions.

Riley listened when he realized that she took not only what he was saying wrong, but now challenging the society. "I believe that the society has a couple secrets but I know they tell us everything that we need to know and we desire to know. I will soon learn everything about the society due to my training in secruity" he told her. It was his opinion and she was going to be his wife soon enough, thus she needed to know where he stands in his views on society

Blake could tell Jewel had more questions, everyone did, but everything would be explained eventually. " they are called Abbies. They are creatures formed after an illness spread across the world. Only a few survived from the attacks but they wiped out most of the population. Only a few people survived and they formed these communities to help thrive and rebuild the population." He told them

  • Jacob fidgeted uneasily, oh how he wanted to kiss her now. He let out a soft sigh and took a step back away from her, looking rather sad to be doing so. "We can't break the laws." He murmrued softly

Julia looked at Riley, this time truly looked at him, her gaze slightly narrowed, her brows furrowed with thought as she took in his words before shrugging her shoulders suddenly and turning her attention back to her salad. She took a few bites before swallowing and speaking again "Is your job dangerous?"

"Are there any other communites out there?" She asked, her voice taunt as she stared out past the wall. What if their community had been so brutal that it would exile people and send them out there to fend for themselves. The thought of those vile creatures chasing after a person made her stomach churn, her face was beginning to pale.

  • Tori watched and saw how nervous he was. Tori had broken her fair share of rules, especially when she was little but a law like this was something else. She stepped closer to him and pressed her lips to his cheek. She gently pulled away with a semi-saucy look. She knew the banquet would end soon but Tori wanted to spend as much time as possible with him... At least while she had the chance before they got married.

Riley shrugged "Depends where I work. Some areas of secruity are more dangerous than others, especially the jobs with the Unmatched." He explained before adding, "I won't know my definite position until after we are married." Riley began to analyze her a bit more. He couldn't exactly figure her out but he got a pretty good idea. Julia was a very untrusting person. Riley could understand that but why exactly were the two matched if they were so... Different. Not just in hobbies but in everything. Their view points of society were completely opposite. Julia didn't trust them and thought they are hiding secrets while Riley trusted them whole heartedly.... Well expect for his match.

Blake shrugged. "When this place first began, there were groups all over forming communities. The some of the surviving band together and smaller groups broke off to form communities, each in different regions. If those societies are still around, I don't know... Wee have tried to make contact in over twenty years." Blake explained to her. Blake hadn't even heard of a human trying to get in since the first six years of society life. "The main thing that brought this was distrust. People lied, cheated and fought their way through life, and treated love as if garbage. All we need how to do was fight. The disease was brought to life through chemicals in bombs. The world broke out into what is known as World War Three. Then the disease got spread and this happened. That's why societies created and mutated our genes to react to a human the way we are suppose to. We are loyal to them this our heart always lies with that person, making a chain. This is to prevent war. But in order to defend ourselves we must have special people, people who can defend and will fight. That is us."

  • Jacob let out a soft sigh and took her hand in his and pressed her knuckles to his lips "I will be looking forward to the day when we are married." He murmured softly with a pleasant smile.

Julia had asked because it worried her, she didn't want to be married to someone with a dangerous job that could possibly come home hurt, the thought made her sick. She looked up from her salad to find him staring at her and frowned slightly, she assumed he was judging what she had been saying about their society and quickly took the moment of silence to change the subject. "What is something you enjoy, something that calms you when you look at it?" She asked suddenly. She could never forgive this wretched society for separating her from her sister.

Jewel couldn't imagine them being the only remaining society left in the world, that would be scientifically impossible...right? She looked over at Blake as he delved a bit deeper into details, so many questions swam in her head yet at the moment it seemed as though he wasn't annoyed with her and she could handle being around him when he wasn't being a prick so she refrained from any more questions. Her palms were sweating with unease though she did her best to hide it.

  • "Yeah.... Two weeks..." Tori said in a soft tone. She looked inside to see her exhausted parents sitting down. Her mother, feeling eyes on her, turned around and gave Tori a soft smile and wave. Victoria could see her mother's exhausted eyes. "I must go now... We have a busy week and my parents have had a busy day.... I hope to see you soon." She told Jacob, squeezing his hand.

Riley thought a moment. He wasn't exactly a calm person but he guessed there were things that made him feel at peace. "Some music, breezes and the sunrise." Riley didn't see the sunrise often but when he did, it was always wonderful. Most people liked the Sunset but Riley liked the sunrise. It meant a new today, a new beginning and a new chance.

Blake could see the tears streaming down faces and the broken expressions. He decided that was enough for tonight. "Alright everyone, load back up." He instructed them. People moved slowly back into the plane and sat quietly. Blake stayed outside the plan, making sure everyone got on.
