    The reptilian panther skidded backwards as the flames erupted from his enemy's maw, splaying across his scaled flank and searing him a tad. His lip twitched slightly but his unusual calmness remained. The injury would have been worse if he had regular fur instead of his scaly pelt. Thane lunged forward, his powerful legs pushing him over the patches of heated earth, aiming to rip his claws through CHERRYPAW's wings in the same spot. He would tear him to pieces, even if it took him a bit longer. The assassin would roll nimbly away after this attempt, his head snapping towards Everpaw. His completely black optics held the apprentice whole, pure rage searing his gaze for half a second before he disappeared. Cloaked in invisibility and sound manipulation, the reptilian assassin moved fluidly across the earth towards Everpaw before disappearing completely and appearing behind his target with teleportation. Thane would aim to hook his claws into EVERPAW's shoulders and slam him powerfully to the ground with all of his strength.

    [font=times new roman]Everpaw knew the bastard was going to pull something like that, and this time she allowed it. The canine fell to the ground, laughing hysterically. So he had heard? Well he would be sure to go back and kill a few more of their kids whenever he had some free time. Either way, he didn't want to waste his energy here.


    The apprentice closed her eyes, briefly imagining her black dragon form in front of her. When her eyelids opened, she was several stories off of the ground and was silently looking down at Thane. She then attempted to hit him from the side with her massive paw, which could easily launch him a few feet away.
