Leaf scrambled up onto the fence. "Where are you taking me?"

Alana meowed without looking at her,"To a family."

Leaf froze. "You don't mean... twolegs do you?"

She shrugged her shoulders,"Maybe with this attitude I'll take you to BloodClan."

Leaf unsheathed her claws. "I don't need a family." Leaf snarled. She turned around and began to make her way out of twoleg place.

She meowed,"If you go that way, you will be at the shelter."

Leaf was silent. Then she meowed, "I've overstayed my welcome, and gotten involved where I shouldn't have." Leaf continued her trek out of twoleg place.

She meowed after her,"You don't know what 'the lab' is, do you?"

Leaf stopped. "I have no idea what that is." Leaf turned around and walked back to the she-cat.

She licked her paw,"Well I do, and trust me, you don't want to be there."

Leaf was quiet before she asked, "How do I get out of twoleg place?"

Alana meowed,"Follow me."

Leaf nodded and followed the she-cat.

She walked along the fence and jumped down. She walked along the sidewalk and disappeared into a bush.
