Toby looked at her with a rather concerned look, "you know.. If you want something, you can always tell me." He told her with a kind smile.

Lily nodded looking at him "Yeah but why use words when they can be so boring"and with that she leaned in and cjshed her lips against his

He chuckled, kissing her back. Toby widened his eyes, he could suddenly feel a strange urge to kill, like he could smell a Hunter but couldn't quite grasp the scent.

Lily tilted her head "Am I that bad? Or is something up?"She asked feeling his mood changed she couldn't smell anything unusual

Toby looked at her, "you're incredible, it's just.. I can smell humans from a far distance and it seems we were correct on why they would paralyze my legs, they're coming after us both. For both of our powers." He told her with a serious look, "you did nothing wrong.." He said and kissed her once again.

Lily sighed. "Our powers? Toby what do we do?"She asked slightly panicked

Toby held her hand tightly to calm her down, "once I've been driven with intense anger or madness, I can get very powerful. And you, darling, are a newborn, you have unbelievable strength for the time being... I feel that they wish to extract our powers from our bodies, but I would never let that happen, because I love you too much to let you out of my sight for too long." He explained to her and kissed her on the cheek, wanting more of her but choosing to hold himself back for now.

Toby's arms weren't paralyzed, so he used those arms to wrap her into a full and complete embrace, "my legs still won't move, it will be difficult to protect you when I'm like this.." He told her, kissing her bare neck, but not taking the blood.

Lily listened andclosed hereyes as he kissed her neck "How far away are they?"She asked quietly

Toby didn't want to speak, but he had to answer her, "not that far, in about five minutes, they'll be here to try and kill me while I can't move.." He said sadly, still holding onto her, almost like he was holding onto his very own life.

Lily growled "Not if I have something to do with it"She held him tight before getting up she wouldn't let him die, he was everything to her "Perhaps I can carry you"She suggested feeling this dark feeling inside once she smelt them

Toby sighed, "what use am I if I can't even use my attacks?" He acted as if he began to give up, but he really didn't want to.

"Im not letting them touch you, toby stop acting like this"Lily said seriously it started hurt seeing him like. And shetriedtocontrol this new feeling

Toby held in his tears, "I don't wanna die...Lily.." He told her, almost to the point of tears.

She hugged him again "You won't, not as long as I live. I won't let that happen"She said quietly and picked him up and went to the balcony before jumping down and running in the opisite direction to them

Toby held onto her, afraid to fall and hurt himself.

She kept running holding him tight after an hour she put him down and collaosed exhausted

Toby sighed in relief, "how fast do you think they are?" He asked her, he can almost move his legs again, but it was rather painful so he didn't force them to move just yet.
