    SURGEONS
    ATTENDING
The attending surgeons have the most experience and have completed both internship and residency. They are in charge of the interns and residents. They have a single specialty, though often pair up with the other specialties in cases of trauma or patients who's problems reach into more than one specialty (such as a broken back or skull, or a child with heart issues). They have authority, what they say goes (of course for the purpose of roleplay, they can be disobeyed).

    RESIDENT
These people have completed the required year of internship and have started the 5 year journey towards being attending surgeons. Many are unsure of what they wish to do, and those who do know often change their minds before residency is complete. Because of this, they are put on shifts with the varying attending surgeons, working alongside the more experienced people to learn and decide what is the best choice for them. There is a test at the end of the five years, and part of the test is to have a certain amount of hours with every specialty. After you've completed these hours, however, you are free to study with whatever specialty you want, so long as the attending surgeons are willing to devote time to specifically you.
(for an example. Bob has always wanted to be a neuro surgeon. bob goes through internship, becomes a resident. while in residency, bob spends more time with neuro than the others, but still makes sure to get the required amount of hours with each specialty. after getting all required hours, he devotes almost all of his time to working with neuro. sally is not sure what she wants to do. she works evenly with all specialties, getting plenty of hours, and realizes that she loves pediatric surgery. she works almost solely on peds from then on.) also. lets say they are in years 3-5 (minimum age of 27). they could probably be focused on one specific one, only doing the others occasionally.

    INTERNS
These people have finished med school, and most of them know little about what they want to be. Some of them may know, and want to learn mostly about that specific surgery (while also learning a little about the others). They have to observe multiple different specialties, and may be in charge of going over patient files.

post questions about anything regarding the roleplay below and I'll answer them!
