Nightfire smiled at Maplelight. “Dont worry, he`ll be safe and strong with us. and you will always be welcome in BlazeClan and if you ever change your mind let me know.” she rose to her paws and laid a reassuring tail on Cometstrikes shoulder, “Come on we should go and meet you`re new Clanmates.”

Nightfire`s whiskers twitched. “I dont see why not. Although i feel i must warn you, my leader tends to be a bit...`special`.” she turned around and started padding towards camp.

Cometstrike slunk slowly behind. He sighed as he went deep into his thoughts...

As she padded slowly along she looked at her paw. After walking for a while she walked right in to a overgrown bracken frond,"Ugh!" She growled while she tried to untangle her-self. She winced as a thorn dug its self into her flank.

Frostclaw heard them making their way throught the undergrouth, and decided to follow them. She stayed at the back with Cometstrike. "I don't feel right anymore," she wispered to him.

She struggled to disconnect from the fronds of sharp brambles and thorns.

Frostclaw went over to help her and freed her from the brambles and thorns and stopped to let Cometstrike catch up with her.

"It will be okay. Its hard but, we just have to remember our true selves.Remember who we are. You'll be fine." He mewed half smiling.

She shook herself and meowed,"Thanks... and Cometstrike..."

Her eyes grew wet,"Well... good luck..."

Nightfire`s ears twitched. she turned around and padded to stand with the others. “Its not goodbye forever Maplelight.” she meowed softly. “You will see him again if i have anything to say about it.” she smiled “How about i let you guys hunt one last time together. Cometstrike i`ll wait for you here at sunrise.” Nightfire smiled at the cats and then turned around and padded off.

She smiled,"Sure." She thought maybe it will take my mind of him. She walked in the opposite direction and scented the air feebly.

He smiled bounding off following maplelight."I am going to miss you...I just feel the need to start over..." he mewed looking into her eyes. He stopped....."I smell something."he said still smilng,"I bet I can catch more pray than you."

Frostclaw smelled something that would feed everyone. She crept very quietly up a tree. There was a screech and Frostclaw jumped down with an eagle in her jaws.

He stopped....."I smell something."he said still smilng,"I bet I can catch more pray than you."She meowed with a playful glint in her eyes along with sadness,"I am gonna miss you too. But im not so sure that you could catch more prey."
