When he thought about it, there wasn't any scent of badger on Reedstar's body, so it couldn't have been a badger. But since that was the case, who had killed their Leader. He wanted to know the answer to this question very badly, but he couldn't think about that answer now. As he let out a sigh and watched as all the cats retreated to their nests and began to settle. Many things needed done tomorrow. Reedstar needed buried, a cat needed to be told that they were in charge, Nimblefoot and himself needed to go to Moonstone, and questions needed answered. Climbing down from the den, the black tom went over to a certain spot in camp: between their Leader's body and the Nursery. He than closed his eyes and slightly lowered his head, his face looking down towards the ground and his body unmoving.

Nothing had changed, really. Not once through the night had the black Siamese tom moved a muscle. His stomach would growl every once in a while, getting louder and louder the more he ignored it, and his eyes never opened. To any other cats it would seem like he was sleeping while sitting up. But they would be wrong. That tom was very much awake. So many thoughts were running through his head to the point where even if he wanted to he wouldn't be able to sleep. It wasn't until he heard voices that one of his ears twitched and turned towards the Nursery where the sound was coming from. He didn't open his eyes or move at all except that ear, but he could tell that it was the mother and her kit that he had let stay in the Nursery. Honestly, he didn't even want to accept those two. Before all of this started happening Jaypaw was welcomed back, a rogue was brought into the clan, and a kittypet of all cats was welcomed in. Now there was another cat in the camp that he didn't know(Watcher), there was that kittypet that helped Frostedwhisper with her kitting, and there was Stream and Bird. It was good to have more cats in the clan, but this was to much. Honestly, if it wasn't for the fact that there was a kit involved, he probably would have only let Bird stay for a little bit before sending her away. He was still debating on doing that. Waiting until Stream was older before sending them off. But he wasn't going to do that now. He had to much to do.

When she had woken up, she could feel her kits next to her, eating already, or at least two of them anyway. From what she could see it was Sootkit that was still asleep, so she tried not to move a lot so she could let them eat and sleep in peace. But, of course, there absolutely had to be the loud laughing and giggling from the back of the Nursery. As Bird tried to wake up her kit and made him start laughing, she felt Sootkit's tiny body begin squirming and letting out little tired mews. As the two left the den, Maplefur couldn't help but glare. They weren't even members of the clan and they were acting like this was their home. They were loud in a Nursery full of tired Queens and newborn kits, they went of and grabbed prey off the pile like it was their's, and they didn't even stop to see Reedstar. While she wasn't going to be mad about the Reedstar part, she still didn't think that the two of them, kit or not, should have been wondering around like they belonged there. Licking the runt of her litter, she couldn't help but look out to where her brother was sitting vigil for their Leader. From what she could tell, he hadn't moved all night, just by the way he looked. He seemed stiff, kind of like when you hold still for to long, he was probably hungry, and most likely exhausted.
(Just wondering, but is anyone playing Hawkkit or Otterkit? I know Inky was playing Otterkit but now no one is playing either of them. Or at least if they are they haven't posted.)

When the sun started coming up but wasn't even half way in the sky, Raggedpaw had woken up in his nest in the Nursery, which was far from the other nests since he didn't really know any Apprentices yet. Not even bothering to stretch, he swerved his way around sleeping bodies and left the den, looking over to where the Deputy was sitting not far from Reedstar's body. Wishing there was something he could do, his eyes then went around the camp to see if anyone else was awake. It was clear that there were two cats awake over by the fresh kill pile, but other than that it didn't seem to awake yet. But there were probably cats awake inside the dens that were just choosing not to leave. He would do the same if it weren't for the fact that he wanted to see Jaypaw, Frostedwhisper, and Longkit.
