  • IC: Marcus finished up the room rather quick, putting sheets and a blanket on the bed before dusting a bit. The demon came back out and looked at the tv, then at Takeo. "Alright, your room is all set up. I think I'm going to go lay down since these last few hours have been pretty exhausting." He said, ears perked up a bit because the idea of rest sounded nice.

  • [align=center][font=georgia]"okay." takeo said, stretching. his eyes never left the tv, though - it was at the best part of the episode, after all. "i think i'll stay up a bit longer. 'night." he wasn't sure if he'd be able to sleep, in the same house as something he usually hunted. even if marcus appeared nice...

was he still going to hunt? he'd been kicked out of the organization, after all. if he ran into them on a hunt, they'd surely kill him. there was also the problem of the fact that he'd end up moving around a lot, thanks to the fact that his job was rather looked down upon. he'd have to think on it.

  • IC: Marcus woke the next morning feeling a bit better, and less stressed, but pretty hungry. The demon got up and walked out of his room, going toward the living room.

  • [align=center][font=georgia]takeo had ended up falling asleep on the couch - it turned out he couldn't wait until the end of the episode after all. so much for constant vigilance. he let out a sleepy groan, sitting up and running one hand through his now-messy hair. he glanced at marcus as the shifter entered the room. "morning." he said, covering his mouth as he yawned. his voice was slightly higher than marcus would normally have heard, seeing as he had slipped up and forgotten to deepen it. hopefully the other boy hadn't noticed it.

  • IC:
Marcus had noticed, definitely. The demon raised a brow. "Not to be rude or anything, but whats the matter with your voice?" He asked, moving toward the kitchen.

  • [align=center][font=georgia]takeo coughed, cursing under his breath. "nothing is." he put in extra effort to make it sound about as deep as it had when they had first met. even if he had been working on it for about half a year now, he still wasn't entirely used to doing it. he moved into a sitting position, rummaging through his bag. he didn't feel like shopping right now - hopefully he had something edible inside.

  • IC:
Marcus hummed, raising a brow but then shrugging it off. "Okay." He said softly, grabbing one of his last bags of blood from his cabinet.

  • [align=center][font=georgia]takeo glanced over as marcus pulled out a bag of blood, making a face before realizing what he was doing. he turned away, shaking his head to himself. the demon needed it to live, like it or not. he finally grabbed a granola bar, unwrapping it and taking a bite. it was a little stale, but edible, at the very least.

  • [align=center][font=georgia]"so, where did you get that?" takeo asked, gesturing at the bag. "stealing from blood banks? or..." he trailed off, figuring marcus would understand. draining his victims and bagging it - he wasn't even sure if it could work like that, but one had to wonder.

  • IC:
Marcus nodded once. "Blood banks. I try to stay in stock, so I don't have to out and try to feed... Now I probably won't after that whole situation.." He said softly, sighing a bit.

  • [align=center][font=georgia]takeo nodded in understanding, staying quiet as he finished off his granola bar. he stuffed the wrapper back into his bag, since he didn't feel like getting up to find a trash can. he sighed almost inaudibly, looking around the room. normally he didn't have this much free time - he wasn't exactly sure what he was supposed to do with it.

  • IC:
Marcus shifted a little, then moved to sit down, humming softly. "So... Takeo.. I don't know why you did all that.. But I am very grateful."

  • [align=center][font=georgia]takeo scooted over a bit so that marcus had more room. "to be honest, i'm not really sure." he mumbled. "but, ah, you're welcome." he added, glancing over at the shifter.

  • IC:
Marcus sighed, hating the awkward silence. "I uh.. I have some video games, if you'd like to play some? I have a few Nintendo systems, an old Atari, NES, a play station.." He said, looking at the other.

  • [align=center][font=georgia]"yeah, that'd be nice." takeo said, smiling. he hadn't played video games in what felt like forever - first he'd just plain been busy, and then he'd gotten into hunting. "what sort of games do you have?"

  • IC:
Marcus got up and went to his shelf. "Tons. I have shooters, racing games, Mario, some Zelda, assassins creed, uh... Well, and a ton more. You can pick though."

  • [align=center][font=georgia]"any mario game is fine." takeo said, leaning slightly to watch marcus. "are you playing, too?" he asked. he didn't really care either way, though games seemed to be a bit more fun when they were multiplayer. or maybe just easier.
