[hr][/fancypost][fancypost borderwidth=0px; height: auto; width: 455px; text-align: justify;]To say that she had been expecting a painless death was a lie. She had known the terms of ascension well enough, but despite the enchanted sleep that the cream tabby had been put under she had felt the point of a cold claw running its way down her spine more strongly than predicted. And she honestly didn't remember the pause between when her old body ceased breathing and this one began, but her lungs were more powerful in this case. Unburdened by the illness which had ravaged her for days before the gods' visit, the tabby queen's breaths came easier.
There were no finches at the site like in GraveClan, but there was a brief period of time during the night where the sleeping tabby cat seemed to bleed onto the grape-coloured stone from her back, but there was no wound. It would have probably gone unnoticed by the general public, but the she-cat made a small noise in the back of her throat, almost a whimper, as everything came back to her. All of her memories, all of the things that she had missed occupying her mind ever since her untimely death almost seven months ago. Had it really been that long since she had swum with the currents of the ocean?
The worrying thing was, would anyone remember Felicity's daughter? The fem was fretful over the topic of remembrance, but that was suddenly stilled when one name popped out. Cainspaw. Cainsmark, now. He had come to the border not too long ago, asking for an alliance between TidalClan and GraveClan. Surely he wouldn't have forgotten the innocent little girl scarcely a moon younger than him (though she wouldn't blame the guy if he had no idea who she was).
The cream and white tabby's eyes snapped open at the crack of dawn, and she sat bolt upright on the quest bed to look around. Apparently it only took a couple of hours to get accustomed to a new body, though this was barely different to her old one. She was completely lost, granted, but she was also ... glowing? A faint purple glow surrounded the queen as she rose shakily to her paws. There was no bang, no explosion of light and sound as the new god tier took her first step, just a familiar feeling of apprehension. But there was something else, something new that the deity hadn't felt in a while. Passion.
She looked up at the sky, and tired to figure out where she was. She didn't know, but there were the scents of other felines around her. She was obviously on someone's territory, but she had no idea where the camp could be. She didn't recognise this scenery from her kithood, and so Estella - to be remembered as Melodicbalance - waited. Surely someone would arrive.
