    Birdpaw stood to her paws and slowly went over to cave entrance. "The blizzard has lightened up a little" she mewed




    Clearpaw lifted up his head. "Can we leave."he asked looking at Bramblefrost. "I never thought how cold it could be in here"he added




    Finchstorm laid in the nest her eyes closed with pain.

    "Maybe we should begin to head back then," mewed Bramblefrost and ppoked Flameheart tonwake him up.

    Quailflight nodded, grateful for the help. She backed up, picking up Valleykit softly before rushing back to the medicine den. "Sunlight!" She mewed when she had reached the blind cat. "Valleykit's paw..."

    Sunlight
    Sunlight lifted both ears as she heard her name again, Quailflight's voice again. The ear pinned themselves backwards lightly as she dipped her head to sniff at Vallykit's paw. It smelt like crimson blood, curiosity pricked at her sense as she padded to the right and grabbed so cobwebs to stop the bleeding first. "What happened?" She questioned as she carefully pressed the cobwebs to kit's injured paw.


    Snowstar
    The leader followed the rest of the cats with kits in their maw over to the apprentice den, ducking as she entered she set Whitekit down. "You all have company." She meowed to the apprentices. "Tigerlily and the kits are going to be staying with you for a bit. The nursery collapsed." She informed them.

    Valleykit shivered and moaned softly, curling her tail around her to keep her body warm. She sniffed her paw and recoiled at the pain and the drowning scent of blood.


    Tumblepaw nodded and nosed Whitekit to a nearby nest. He flicked his tail to Tigerlilys and mewed, "This nest is free."

    Driftingmoon
    The tom trailed through the snow as Snowstar led the way to the apprentice den. He heard Foxkit's words and set the tom down next to Whitekit as he meowed answer. "I am sure Valleykit will be just fine. Sunlight's taking care of her." He meowed with a reassuring smile. "You and the other kits should take the chance to look around the apprentice den while your here. Figure out where the best spots to sleep are, you'll be apprentices before you know it."

    Tumblepaw grinned at the kits. "I'm sure you'll be great apprentices," he mewed and sat down next to Foxkit.

    Clearpaw followed Birdpaw more slower.

    The she cat nodded her head as she checked for broken bones, it was probably not possible to walk on it at all. A yowl from the back had her ears falling against her head, mousedung forgot about Flinchstorm. As she pulled the bloody cobwebs away and replaced them with new, she got to her paws and went through her supplies, which was running low. She grabbed some comfrey and placed it near Quailflight's paws. "I wouldn't ask if I didn't need the help, but could you chew that up into a poultic. It will help with the wound and if they're are any broken bones. Just place it on the cobweb and press it against the wound." She told the queen. "If the pains is too much give her some poppy seeds, no more than two." She added, her paws already carrying her away to Flinchstorm. The Queen was much louder than Quailflight, which had her wondering if something was really wrong with her. "Flinchstorm? How are you doing?" She questioned, as she placed a gentle paw on the Queen's round belly.

    She nodded, and began chewing the leaves. Once the were made in to a paste, she deposited them on the cobwebs and carefully placed them on Valleykit's paw. "Is that okay?" She asked, meeting the kit's eyes.

    Dapplekit heard another crack and saw wood falling as everyone left the nursery. She made it to the apprentice den with Shallowkit and Rosekit by being carried and shook off the snow from her pelt

    Sunlight
    The she-cat relaxed a little hearing that, maybe just some she-cats were louder than others. "Hm, well that's normal. I would give you something for it, but can't until the kits are out. Do you want a stick to bite?" She didn't want the Queen losing her tongue, she wasn't feeling to many contractions right this second and no pushing. She assumed they had a few more moments before the kits arrival.


    Snowstar
    The leader watched as the kits and the Queen got settled in as Tumblepaw offered up nests. She assumed they'd all be okay in here for the time being, but was worried about the nursery. They couldn't leave them in here for to long, it would get far to crowd. They'd have to work on rebuilding it again. As she summoned the warriors with a wave of her tail, she noticed that the wind was dying down and the snow was falling far slower and lighter. The blizzard was passing finally.

    She winced but nodded bravely. "I think that will be fine," she mewed and gingegingerly touched her paw to the ground.


    Bramblefrost bounded out of the cave into a snowdrift. "Keep close to me so you can see me at all times!" She called to the apprentices as she trotted forwards.

    She let out a breath she didn't realize she had been holding in. "Good, my brave kit." She mewed, smiling. "Sunlight, when you have a moment, could you come check my work?" She mewed towards the back of the den. She didn't want to disturb her, but wanted to insure the wound was properly cared for.
