  • With that they split up.
"How are you Renton?" Don asked. The little piplup nodded.

Her tail went numb but she shock it off. "I hope it's as good as it smells at the moment." SHE ANSWEred.

  • "I feel terrible for hitting you," Prim said, "Can I do anything to make it better?"

"I could test it if you wanted," Dark suggested.

  • He shook his head. "I'll be ok. It just hurt."
Don put a hand on his head. "Hey. I'm proud of you though."
    Renton looked confused.
"You didn't faint. You endured one of Prim's dizzy punches. Now thatms saying alot for you when you struggle with the first training dungeon. I'm proud of you." Don told with a smile.
Renton's eyes glowed. "I did. I did endure a punch. I'm getting stronger." He smiled very happily.

She laughed. "No it's ok Dark. Besides. All the ingrediants aren't in it yet. You can havr some at dinner."

  • Prim smiled at his excitement. "You'll be able to start your own rescue team in no time."

"Are you sure I can't have some now?" Dark asked, "Y'know, for taste test reasons."

  • "Yeah!" Renton said.
"And who knows. Maybe soon you can join us on a job. You know. Start small before you get you're own team." Don smiled.
    "Yeah yeah." Renton said.

"I'm sure Dark. It's not ready yet." Marissa laughed.

  • "That'll be fun, having you around," Prim said, "Especially on some of the escort missions."

"Well, what of it's poisoned?" Dark asked, "You'd never know. I'm willing to take that risk."

  • "Oh yeah. Then you have the treasure hunting missions. Those ate always interesting." Don tossed in.
"Really? That sounds awsome." Renton said excited. He had forgotten all about the earlier punch now and was imagining what it was like to explore.

Marissa sighed. She then got a sly look and before he could protest more she toke a spoon and got some of the soup. She put it in his mouth and removed it making sure he got a good taste. The soup was very bitter and sour in his mouth. Like sucking on two lemons. It also burned as if he had taking a huge bite out of a very hot pepper. Marissa went back to cooking knowing what the soup tasted like without all the ingredients. She just waited, after all. She was the cruel pokemon.

  • "Rescue missions are my favorite, though," Prim said, "Our clients are always so happy afterwards."

Dark's tail beacon lit up, but he otherwise didn't react to the sour, spicy taste. "Huh, I thought pecha berries were supposed to be sweet," he said, a bit confused, "Oh well, it'll taste great when you're done."

  • "Soooo true. Probably the hardest jobs we do though are bad pokemon arrest." Don said.
    "Bad pokemon?" Renton asked.

She kinda chuckled, "The Main ingredient is pecha berries but." She points to a pile of pecha berries to the side ready for preparation. "I haven't added them yet. There's a little more to it than pecha berries." Marissa explained.

  • "Not every pokemon is nice like they are here and in town," Prim explained, "Some pokemon do things that are so bad they have to go to jail. We can get jobs that let is catch those pokemon. But those jobs are better suited for big, strong pokemon like Marrow."

"What a con," Dark muttered, his tail still glowing bright.

  • "And TORTUER." Don added. "Those two tend to take their teams out on those jobs."

Marissa laughed, "What? I'm not that bad and neither is it."

  • "You might be able to when you evolve all the way up," Prim said, "Emplodions tend to be very strong."

"I was under the assumption that it was almost done," Dark pouted.

  • "And they are quite fierce." Don added with a smile.
"Not as fierce as you big brother." Renton said. He looked up to all his older siblings yet he looked up to Don and Prim the most.
Don ruffled the top of Renton's head, "I'm just an illusion master. Quite the trickster that's for sure." He said with a wink, not in a weird way.

"It is. I was about to add them when you came in." She said clawing the berries ip before adding them to the soup.

  • "Not as bad as Dark though," Prim sighed, "For such a loud pokemon, he's able to get away with a lot of pranks."

"Why couldn't you have added those in when I wanted to taste it?"

  • "That is so true. I don't know how he does it without Officer Magnezon arresting him." Don said. "But hey. That's Dark for ya. Now what do you two say about us getting ready for dinner."
"Yeah. Let's do that. I'n hungry." Renton smiled.

"Cause then it wouldn't have been funny." She said

  • "Your fur is still messy," Prim said, "I'll need to finish brushing it before we go to dinner."

"I guess I feel ya there," Dark said, "But my tail beacon's gonna be bright for a while."

  • "Haha. Right. Let's go do that." He said scratching his cheek.

"It'll be ok. It'll down during dinner. Now you two go get ready." Marissa told.

  • Prim lead him back to her room and sat him down. She sat behind him and resumed her brushing, humming as she went along.

Dark nodded and picked Sally up again. "Wanna go see Groovy in town real quick before it's time to eat?"

  • Don relaxed closing his eyes. "Mmmm... You have no idea how good that feels. Heh. YOU might put me to sllep again."

"Sure. I don't see why not." She said holding as to him as best she could.

  • "If you do fall asleep, I'm probably gonna sleep on you," Prim said, "You're always so soft and warm, it amazing."

"Awesome, I'm gonna try to get some supplies for all the missions we're gonna have," Dark said, making his way out of the guild.
