"Hmm. I wonder if something like that is happening now." Marlina said. She thought. "I've noteced new pokemon moving yo the area."
"I think I'll be ok. Just don't use thunder bolt on me." Sally laughed.
Renton got confused and seemed to return to normal for a moment. "Ow." He started to cry. "Why did you hit me sister Prim?" He said through sobs. This was something only he called her. He looked back to normal
Don shock off.
"I'll ask around tomorrow while you guys are all out taking care if all the jobs that are ire to flood in" Thread decided.
"I'll try, but no promises," Dark teased, "You know how excited I get for the simplest things. Especially food."
Prim hugged him and picked him up. "I'm so sorry Renton, but I had to. Something was very, very wrong and that was the only way to fix it."
"Sounds like a plan to me. Jake and I managed to pick up a lot of gear on this run, we'll set it out later,"
"I know. You get way too excited." Sally said.
Renton cried.
Don walked over, "It's ok now Renton. You'll be safe."
Renton looked up sobbing, "The last thing I remember was mimicing a caterpie and hearing a voice. I came toward the pond then blacked out. Next thing sister Prim punches me." He cried again.
"Great. What about you Ashley?" "It's been a while since Rose and I had a decent job, so we'll be happy to take any mission we need to."
"I can't help it," Dark said, "Life is just so awesome, it's hard not to get excited over little things."
"I'm so very sorry," Prim said sadly, hugging him tighter, "Let's go home now and I can fix you up."
"Yeah." Marlina said. "Hm. Hey look. There's Don and Prim. With Renton."
"The same excuse every time." She teased.
"Hold up. Someone's coming." Don said,
"What are you three doing here?" Thread asked, concerned, "Don't you know it's dangerous, especially for someone as young as Renton?"
"Hey, life never stops being beautiful," Dark countered, "So I'll never stop getting excited."
"Sorry. Renton left to play earlier in the yard and followed a caterpe out here. We didn't know this had happened." Don answered.
"And something had gotten a hold on him and you," jake said looking at them.
Don nodded confused.
"I understand that." Sally agreed. "I don't see thread anywhere."
"This place is way too dangerous to be open to the public," Thread decided, "I hope the other dungeons aren't as bad."
"He probably ran after Prim or something," Dark guessed, "You know how he is with her. Perfect example of adoring father.
"I hope so. Don said.
Marlina walked over to them and knelt down beside them. She then used sweet kiss on Don. It confused him but his fur returned to normal. "Seems confusion breaks the hex though." Marlina concluded.
"That's for certain." Sally agreed.
"Maybe we could try shooting a confuse ray at the crystal?" Ashley suggested. "That might slow the effect downing it does anything at all, but I don't think it'll stop it," Thread said, "It's too powerful for that."
"Well, what should we do while we wait for him to get back?"
"It is too strong. It'd take 20 confuse rays at the same to do anything judgeing from the feild, we'll have to find the sorce and stop it there." Jake said analyzing the stone using teleport to wuickly move back and forth.
"I should probably see Marissa." Sally said. "It wouldn't hurt for me to see
a medic."
"We'll just have to keep doing jobs until we get an idea of what that source is," Thread said, "We'll be able to find it faster once we have the help of Wigglytuff's guild."
"I think she's in the kitchen," Dark said, walking in that direction.
"Yeah. For now let's get out of here. Before sonething bad happens." Don said. He toke Prim's habd and walked on as she held the still crying Renton close.
Jake and Marlina followed
When the reached it Marissa abd Shadow were at work. "What is it." Marissa said.
Ashley followed. Thread stared at the pond sadly for a few seconds before joining them.
"Sally got hurt during our last mission," Dark said, setting her down on a table.
"We'll get to the bottom of this." Don said. "I'm sure of it."
Marissa turned to her. "Let me have a look here." She said looking her over.
"I ate an oran berry earlier so I feel better." Sally told. "But my leg still hurts."
Marissa looked at it. "Cause you're burned in a few places." Marissa saw.
"I hope so," Thread sighed, "I can never rest until I'm sure the town is safe."
"She's gonna be okay though," Dark said, "Right?"
"I'm sure they'll be safe for now. And even after." Jake said.
"Yeah. We're all hear and even when we're not you have Shadow abd Marissa here to help you protect them." Marlina added.'
"Oh yeah." Marissa said turning to her berries. She oulked out a rwast berry and handed it to her then a healing herd. "Eat these and you'll be fine in no time." Then she turned back to dinner.
Sally thanked her then ate them.
Thread smiled. "Thank you," he said simply.
"What are you making?" Dark asked, leaning over Marissa curiously.
"Don't worry too much" don said and they entered the guild.
She wrapped her tail around him and moved him back some, "I'm making pecha soup with a culom on the side."
"Right, get ready for dinner, everyone," Thread said, "I have a few things I need to say afterwards."
Marissa's tail was sparked as Dark's eyes shined happily. "That sounds amazing. And it smells so good."
