  • Shadow shock his head. "Young love. See you back at the guild Thread." and he walked back to the guild carrying the stuff.

Sally was asleep. It was obvious that the dungeons were getting harder and harder for her which frustrated her to no end. She really wanted to evolve and wanted to be a vaporeon but at this point would settle for a sylveon, umbreon, or espion. After the long dungeon they had gone threw earlier that day she was worn out and hurt from the constant fighting and some of the pokemon were fighting types so she toke a harder hit than Dark had. She rested while she could, nursing her wounds as she did.

  • Thread walked on to collect Jason and Rogue and inform the town of the bad news.

Dark bounced into her room walked over to her. He shook her gently to wake her up. "Hey Sally, guess what," he said in a quiet voice, "The evolution pond became a mystery dungeon. And there's an evil crystal in the center of the water. It's crazy! Oh, and I brought you some oran berries. I only have three, so I hope it helps."

  • The town was isnstanly worried with a mystery dungeon so close to them. Many wanted to just pack up and leave but realized that wouldn't solve anything. Theu decided to put trust in the guild.
"What do we do though?" Came a concerned swanna.

Sally just grunted at first. Then it sunk it. She jumped up her fur brustled up with shock. "The evolution pond has become a mystery dungeon and is causing pokemon to turn bad?!" She sat down her ears laid back and she looked sad. "Thanks for the oran berries by the way." She ate one then sighed. "Guess I wont be evolving today.. I was going to go to the pond later and become whatever. At this point I'd be happy becoming a umbreon if it meant I'd do better in dungeons... I mean I do ok but I come back in worse shape every time." She finished.

  • "What you've always done," Thread replied, "Come to the guild with your problems and continue on with life. Until we can figure out what's causing this, we can do nothing else."

"Don't worry, Sally," Dark said, "Our town can't be the only place with an evolving pool. We could just try at another town's. Besides, with new mystery dungeons, we might have a better chance at finding you a water stone."

  • The towns pokemon lookevat each other worried then finally nodded.
"What if bad pokemon start showing up?!" Came a concerned mother pokemon.
"Then the ones of us left behind will protect you." Marissa said stepping beside Thread. "I sent for Pepper. She'll be here within the next 10 minutes.

Sally was quiet a moment. "I guess you're right."
Jasmine poked her head in, "What's going on? The towns pokemon look scared from up here." The absol asked.

  • "Good, I'll explain the situation when she comes," Thread said. He turned back to the town. "It'll be just like when that human came. You'll all be safe here with the guild to protect you."

"The evolution pond turned into a mystery dungeon," Dark said simply.

  • "Just let us handle this and you'll be ok." Marissa assured. "Thread, Shadow, and myself will stay behind to protect this place. You'll he fine."
The town seemed a little better at hearing this.

"That's not good." SHE ANSWEred. She walked away thinking.

  • Thread began to make his way back to the guild, hoping that Jake and Markina had returned.

Leon went past her and popped his head in the room. "Hey you two," he said, "I heard the news. Shiver Lake also became a mystery dungeon. There's a ton of bad pokemon there, and I think I saw a few vaporion. If you both check it out, you might find a water stone there." Dark jumped up excitedly. "Let's go now!" Leon shook his head. "You'd better wait. Thread'll want to have a meeting about what's going on when he comes back."

  • Jake and Marlina were walking up. The tiny raults cried out and suddenly teleported into their arms. The looked at them a little surpried then saw Thread.
    "Hey you guys." Jake said.

Dan ran over. He had a brush stuck in his long purple fur (shiny zoroark) from where he jumped up while Prim was brushing out some Muk slim from their last dungeon. "Did you say the evolution pond is a dungeon?!"
    "Yeah we-." Sally started.
"Renton's over there!" And he tore off running.

  • "Ah, Jake and Marlina, just the people I needed to see," Thread said happily, "Have you heard the news?"

"Do you think we should go after him?" Dark asked, "Actually, Prim probably will. He'll be fine. Besides, we need to ask Thread about Shiver Lake."

Prim nearly ran into him. She was able to avoid collision by pivoting around just in time. "What's the matter?" she asked as she attempted to free the brush from his hair as they ran, "You just dashed off when you heard Dark talking about the pond." She of course had heard everything with her long, sensitive ears.

  • "No. Woah!" They dodged Don and Prim. "Jeeze. What's going on?" Marlina asked.

"Yeah. Don will be ok. We need to talk about this first." Sally said.

Don just ran forward half panicked. "The evolution pond is a dungeon now. I'd guess a strong one too. Renton is over there! He went out earlier I know it. He went to play around that pond! He's in danger! He can't handle a level 6 pokemon on his own!" He hurried on. They were coming up on the pond. The dark glow there. "Voices?.. Prim. Do you hear voices?" There was a very soft murmur on the wind. As if there were gahstlys or litwicks close by.

  • "An evil crystal popped up in the evolution pond and now the whole thing is a mystery dungeon," Thread explained, "If you two are up for it, I was hoping we could go down and you could get a psychic reading on it."

"This is really exciting," Dark said, "We might finally be able to find a water stone and you could get stronger than ever!"

Prim listened intently. "Yeah, but I can't tell what they're saying..."

  • "Yeah. We'll see what we can do. This is major so we need to see." Marlina said.

"Yeah. I'd be happy to finally evolve." Sally responded.

Don listend. "... Come join us. Everything will be ok with us. You'll be stronger. No one will pick on you any more." As he spoke his fur stood up and was becoming darker but he wasn't mad. "They're talking to Renton!" He said getting faster.
They suddenly stopped before the pond. By now Don's fur was darker than night and the purple fur he had was now near black.
The tiny piplup stood in front of them and his blue feathers looked like Empoleon feathers.
    "Renton?" Don asked.
He turned and looked at him with an odd smile and dark eyes. "Hello brother and Prim,"

  • "Great, let's get going then." He turned to leave, but stopped. "I forgot, I wanted to take Ashley as well to make sure it's not a group of ghastlies playing a prank or something."

"Then we'll be unbeatable," Dark said, "The best team in the guild. I mean, we already are the best, but if you become a Vaporeon, you could keep ground type pokemon away from me."

"Hey Renton, it's time to go home now," Prim said calmly with a smile. She was feeling very uneasy, but acting like she was fine so as not to alarm Renton.

  • "Yeah. As a Gengar he'd be able to tell." Jake said. "We'll wait here."

"Yeah. And fighting types wont be as affective on me." She sighed dreaming.

Don seemed to be sweating. "Come on Renton. We should go back now."
"Why brother." Renton responded. "I found friends to play with here and they don't pick on me."
"Just trust me lil bro. You don't need to be here. This place is dangerous for you."
"No dear brother. It's dangerous for you. Wont you join me and my friends though?"

  • Thread nodded and walked to Ashley's room. "Ashley, I need you for a few minutes," he called. Ashley fazed through the door in front of Thread. "What's up?" He asked. "I'll explain on the way," Thread replied. They both walked back to Jake and Marlina. "Let's go," Thread said, leading them out.

"Well, we better go check if Thread's back yet," Dark said, "We can ask right away if he is."

"Don't be silly, Renton," Prim said, "You just said it's dangerous for us. Now stop playing around, it's almost time for dinner and Marissa won't be happy if you come home late."

  • Jake and Marlina followed leaving Rouge and Jason with Marissa.

"Awesome." Sally said standing but with a tiny bit of trouble.

"I'm not going home. But you can stay with me. Join us." Renton said as a bunch of pokemon that looked off from the normal started coming out at them.
"Renton we're not playing. Let's go." Don was becoming agitated.

  • As they walked, Thread explained the situation to Ashley. "It's a nightmare," he concluded, "I thought we were done with these when primal dialga was defeated."

Dark picked her up and carried her on his back. His neck fluff was soft and warm.

"You can play with your friends tomorrow, but right now we need to go home."

  • "Dang. I don't think this is the work of ghost types. This is something else." Marlina said.
"I agree. I thoughtvwe were done with this." Jake affef.

"Thanks. Sorry about this though. I think my leg is still busted from that rock slide that larvitar did on us." Sally concluded

"I refuse to go." Renton said darkly.
"Come on now bro." Don said and stepped toward him,
"I REFUSE!!" Rentom roared before using, surprisingly, a hydro pump.
Don jumped infront of Prim and sheilded her from the attack. He held his ground when the attack mafe contact with him.

  • "Something like this happened a long time ago, when I was a baby," Thread said, "A human turned into a pokemon and everyone thought it was the ends of the world. In the end, though, all their problems were coming from Requaza."

"That's okay, I'm happy to help," Dark said brightly, "Sorry if I shock you, though. I'll try not to get overexcited."

Prim jumped in front of Don and used dizzy punch on Renton in order to stun him. With luck, he'd get confused enough for them to grab him and leave.
