[fancypost borderwidth=0px; height: auto; width: 455px; text-align: justify;]]hello :D. For this plot I ask that you be semi-adv to adv and are relatively active c: thank you!!! just post a faceclaim, name, etc and I will start.

Seraphina, more commonly known by Sera, is at your characters restaurant waiting for her fiancé to show up for their date. It's their anniversary too, two whole years. As the night goes on, he doesn't show up, and she doesn't receive any call or text. Your guy, the owner, takes pity on her and let's her have her meal on the house, since of course she orders. She was hungry waiting for her fiance. The owner, aka your guy, decides to sit and spend the time with her, at least until her fiancé comes, because she seems lonely. The two of them hit it off, connecting with each other over conversation, as he makes her feel a bit better. He eventually has to close up, and Seraphina gets a text message from her fiancé saying he had loads of work to do at the office. Seraphina begins to leave, but not before inviting your guy to the opening night of her new art gallery. He agrees to come, and after that night at the art gallery the two spend more and more time with each other, falling in love, despite the fact she's engaged. Her fiancé is never around; yet Sera still stays with him. As the wedding gets near, she has to make a decision, her fiancé whom she's known and loved for years, or the man she fell recklessly in love with. More plots can unfold, you can give your guy an epic backstory, we can figure stuff out as we go (:

It just depends on what the other person(s) are using. What do you typically use?

I'd probably do better with first person though.

  • I'm sorry I got this mixed up with another role play so I thought I replied. I'm on vacation now though so I am not sure when I'll be able to get a post in. Maybe later tonight or tomorrow, sorry!!

[fancypost borderwidth=0px; height: auto; width: 455px; text-align: justify;] I had been extremely excited for tonight, my fiance and i's second anniversary..he had proposed a few months before, on my birthday, and now I had no idea what he could possibly do to make the night anymore special. But he had chosen my favorite restaurant to go to, made reservations and everything. He would be meeting me there, since he would be coming straight from work.

It had taken me forever to get ready. I had no idea what I wanted to wear! I eventually left my hair down in its brown waves, and chose a shortsleeved black dress that went just above my knees. It was very elegant, but simple. I did my make up, just a little blush and eye make up, nothing too heavy. People told me I was beautiful enough without the make up.

Anyways, our driver brought me to the restaurant, a beautiful little place that had a view of the bay of the city we lived in. I walked in and told the hostess my name, and she brought me to a small table, set for two. I was given some wine, and asked for anything else but I told them I would wait for my fiance.

Seconds ticked by, which turned into minutes, which turned into an hour. The waitresses kept coming by, asking if I wanted anything, and then eventually I ordered a meal. I was starving, and it appeared that my fiance would not be showing up to our date. I kept checking my phone, looking for a text or missed call or something...

But there was nothing. I blinked back tears and tried to appear calm, and not as upset as I was feeling. This wasn't the first time my fiance had done this to me. He had stood me up a couple times, but not on any occasions that hurt as much as this did. It was our anniversary! We were engaged! I sighed and let my shoulders slump as I glared at the beautiful diamond ring on my left hand.

It was actually pretty depressing. A beautiful girl like her stood up without a call or anything. The happiness in her eyes had long since died out and I could see her struggling to keep the tears back. I had been watching her for awhile now, ever since she didn't order after the third time the waitress came around claiming that her fiancé would be here soon. I couldn't help but feel that this wasn't the first time it had happened to her because of the way she sat playing with with the napkin or the way she seemed so calm about the situation but I knew something was wrong when her posture slipped into one of defeat.

Deciding to do something about, it I got up from my seat at a booth in a corner where I was filling out paperwork and walked into the kitchen. Pots clanged and steam funneled out of meals being sautéed by the cooks. I grabbed a small plate and called out for my head chef, "Sebastian, where's the desserts for tonight." I could barely hear his reply over the commotion everywhere but got pointed to the back table. Grabbing the lid off a case I scooped up a piece of red velvet cake and left the kitchen.

I slowly walked over to her table the plate held in my right hand. Without invitation I pulled out the sweat across from her, knowing that if I did ask she would tell me she was waiting. I set the dessert down in front of her and then clasped my hands together while leaning forward on my elbows. "You know I've been told we have the best cake in the city?" I looked up at her with a small smile on my lips. "Would you like some company." Looking at the girl sitting across from me I couldn't help but noticed how beautiful she was with her hair falling in light waves, her lips had a light pout on them, and her eyes were a soft color that put it all together.

((Tell me, was it too short?))

[fancypost borderwidth=0px; height: auto; width: 455px; text-align: justify;] [oh no that was perfect!]

Dinner was wonderful, just like it always is here. It came pretty fast, since the restaurant slowly started to get less and less busy. I had my favorite, steak, potatoes, and green beans. It was very lonely though, sitting there and eating alone. I didn't look up much, but I could feel the pity glares burning into skin.

God I was pathetic, I should have just left after the first hour and not even bother sitting there. But I was clinging onto that hope that he'd walk in, run over and apologize, hand me a bouquet of flowers and kiss me and beg for my forgiveness. I knew that was wishful thinking. My fiance had done this before to me. Most people ask why I would put up with this, but we did love each other. We had a past, and we used to be that cute couple hopelessly in love with each other. Sometimes we still were.

I don't know, I just couldn't see myself with someone else right now. I finished dinner and waited around a teeny bit longer to see if he would get there and they could have dessert. But he wasnt coming. I began to pull cash out of my purse when suddenly there was someone sitting across from me, placing red velvet cake in front of me.

I glanced around in confusion, before taking the young man in. He was dressed nicely, similar to the waitors, but without the rest of the uniform. With his words though, it appeared he might be the manager or owner. I smiled a bit though and nodded. "You do, actually. This happens to be my favorite dessert of yours," I didn't yet eat the cake, until he asked if I wanted company.

I looked around again and shrugged, sighing. "I probably look pretty pathetic, right?" I asked and picked up a fork, and then handed him the other one. "Yes, some company would be nice, but you have to share with me," I half smiled and took a bite for myself.

((Sorry, we went on a surprise trip to the beach. The internet didn't work very well at the hotel.))

I took the fork from her and then tilted my head to the side, shaking it slightly. "No, I don't think you look pathetic. I think you look like someone who is-" I stopped talking, trying to think of a word that wouldn't be taken as offensive yet wouldn't give off the air of me just trying to be kind. I scraped my brain for a word but I couldn't seem to find it and I let out a puff of air through my lips. I grinned when she mentioned sharing the cake. I sliced a small piece with my fork and placed it in my mouth. Chewing slowly I went back to thinking. My hands clasped together and I leaned forward, resting my chin on my knuckles.

I could tell that this simple act had brought her some joy, even if only a little bit. Her small smile brought a little wave of butterflies to my gut. I glanced out if the corner of eyes at my restaurant. Most of the customers had were gone, besides an elderly couple in a booth by the window. I could see the bust boys clearing the tables of dirty plates and half empty cups. The constant stream from the kitchen had slowed, along with the hot stem that leaked from the doors.

I had a moment of euphoria when I finally picked the right word. "-defeated. You look defeated." I said with a quiet voice. I wanted to press for details but knew that someone who was hurt like she was tonight might shut me out and want me to leave. It was a delicate situation and I almost felt a bit of anger when I thought about who could do that to a girl as pretty as this one. I looked at her ring and almost gasped in disbelief. Her fiancé no less!

To make the conversation steer away from how she felt so I asked a rather personal, "He's done this before hasn't he?" I took another bite of the dessert before leaning back. I looked over at her with questioning eyes and reached up to pull at my tie. I hooked my finger behind my black neck ware and pulled at it. After I loosened the knot it hung loosely around my neck. I then pushed my white shift sleeves up to my elbows. The combinations giving me the appearance of a truant private college student. I crossed my arms over my chest and added to my question, "You don't have to answer that if you don't want to."

((Excuse any mistakes I made please. I'm sorry if it not super good.))

    [fancypost borderwidth=0; width: 500px; font-size: 32px; color: white; letter-spacing: -2px; opacity: 0.99; text-shadow: 2px 2px 2px black; margin-top: -15px;][i]Seraphina Rhysanders[/fancypost]
[fancypost borderwidth=0px; height: auto; width: 455px; text-align: justify;] [oh okay! And they're small mistakes you're fine!]

I watched as he picked up the fork, explaining to me that I didn't look pathetic. Well that was a relief, I felt embarrassed beyond belief, and I was disappointed in myself. Maybe I had done something wrong? What if...oh my god what if he was cheating on me? This was the first time the thought was crossing my mind and I pushed the thought away. He would never, he loved me so much...right?

I glanced at him as he searched for a word that fit how I looked tonight. It took him a while, and in the meantime be glanced around the restaurant. I did the same thing, eating the cake he'd brought out. It looked like it was almost closing time, which meant I'd been there for probably more than twords hours now? I don't know. It felt like years. "Defeated? Yeah I suppose that works. I guess I am. It just hurts...it's our anniversary," I let out a laugh, though it was a sad laugh.

His question caught me off guard, and when he said I didn't have to answer it. I only shrugged, finishing off the cake, I'd pretty much eaten most of it. I tried not to admire him as he loosened his tie and rolled up his sleeves. He did look...a little more attractive like that, slightly disheveled. You should know I rarely find myself attracted to other guys. Sure I'll think someone is cute, or handsome, but...I don't know, there was a different kind of attraction to the owner here. "He has before. Twice. None on an important date like this, though. His job is really demanding, he's the CEO of an advertising company, and is always with clients," I put my hand under my chin.

I tilted my head at him again. "You know youre a bit young, if you're in charge of this place. How old are you?" I asked, other hand tapping the table absentmindedly. "Oh and I'm Seraphina by the way," we hadn't even established names! I mean sure, maybe I'd never see the man again, but still it was polite to introduce yourself.

  • OH MY GOSH. Okay so I was wondering about this thread because is was never popping up at the top of list, so when I went to go look for it, it was gone. I had accidentally deleted it. I found it now.

Are you still there? And do you still want to do this RP?

  • I was wondering too but I didn't want to bump it up because I hate bugging people. && yes I still want to do the plot.
