Carter looked at her narrowing his eyes. "I am not human anymore." He hissed eyes narrowed looking like he was angry by that statement. Looking at her he frowned not saying anything for a while. "Alright Sarah how do you suggest I do that?" He asked flattly.

Carter listened quietly taking a deep breath. How much it hurt to think about back then. Before all the tests and powers. He never talked about those times not even with Sarah except for certain things. He saw the tear and felt pain whelm up in his eyes. "I'll try...it's all I can do."

Alyssa hadbheard talking and mumbled "Stop talking to yourself Carter"She moaned curling up and falling asleep again until the late hours of the morning -
Carter rolled his eyes and stood up. He considered himself half crazy at this point seeing Sarah's spirit. He missed her, but stil she was dead. He heard Alyssa and took a deep breath sat back down on the bed. Pushing some hair out of his face he looked at the peeling paint of the ceiling.

Max woke up around the time the sun rose he rubbed his eyes and ruffled his hair before stretching and yawning then he rubber his eyes and looked around to see who else was up he sat up and looked at Cater "Morning"he said quietly

Carted glanced over didn't make a sound as he turned his eyes back towards the ceiling. After a little while he rose and yawned. "Morning." He said nodding his head and standing.

"Any next step ideas?"he asked tiredly scratching his neck he leant against the wall and looked at Alyssa now thinking off hr as a big sister as she seemed to care about him in a nurturing way he checked she was asleep

"Get money would be all we can do right now. Can't do anything without it." He stated knowing the only option was to start getting money any way possible. "The longer we stay and don't pay the hotel the less money we'll have later on." He pointed out shrugging.

Nodding he shrugged a bit. Well there were less legal ways of getting money. Still, yeah the job was their best option at this point. "Might be hard to find it though. We did show up out of nowhere." Glancing at Alyssa he raised an eyebrow. "Glad to hear it. Maybe we won't have to carry you around town." There was a ghost of a smile like he was trying to make a joke.

He looked down at Alyssa. That was a hard one to answer. "Better a little better." He admitted. He had gotten through what he needed to sort through.

Alyssa smiled a little "Good, well see you later. I'm going to make some money so we can all eat"she didn't say what she wasbgoing to do because shebknew he would disagree but what choice did she have she stood up and walked out

He nodded slightly and stood up himself. He grabbed a room key and stalked out. He was gonna go do what he did best, hunt. There has been a sign in front of the hardware store that there would be cash for whoever could get rid of some mountain lions. Blinking his eyes red as he walked out and headed for the woods.

Following some of the energy paths. Narrowing his eyes he found a path and drew his medium length blade that he retrieved from the facility as it was burning. There was something near by. Walking with silent steps he made his way deeper into the woods.

Narrowing his eyes could hear the quiet footfalls. Growling he slowly looked around seeing the heat signature of a young mountain lion perched on a rock looking down at him. Smiling used a energy sphere to knock the beast off its perch and braced himself.
