  • Lorina was sitting, her back straight and her tail out behind her, on the edge of a wall, eyes scanning the distance. She'd completed a patrol this morning, and intended to go on another at dusk, but a bit extra vigilance couldn't hurt. Besides, the hubbub of the city was chaotic, not exactly overwhelming, but grating.

He recalled a time that was seeming ever so far ago with each passing day when life was easy. He and his brothers fought in the redkeep and his only challenge had been escaping the nursemaid and now; people going missing, so many deaths, the exiles, and riddleclan.

Moon wondered, was this the result of growing up and gaining responsibility or of the westeros' horrid luck? Who knew. Well, at least things weren't quite as boring as they once were, that was for sure. Moon wanted some time alone. To think, one may say, but really just to clear his head. Of all the places to find peace, king's landing was probably on top of the list not to go to, however, there were certain places that retained peace in the ever bustling capitol.

When the youth found himself on the very wall the great high queen stood, he supposed it shouldn't be a shock he was not the only one who knew of these little spots seemingly away from the rest of the world, yet there was still the "so much for being alone" dinging, quite annoyingly so, in his head. "I hope I'm not disrupting anything?" He deadpanned with a slight tilt of his head, after all, Lorina probably wanted to be alone to find peace as well.

  • Lorina glanced over in surprise, then beckoned him over with an outstretched wing. "Not at all, Brother. Please, join me," she requested, shuffling slightly to clear a space for him. She glanced up at the sky, concern furrowing her brow, before her expression smoothed into the carefully neutral mask she preferred to wear in public.

Moon nearly prepared to fly off, but the queen's solemn beckoning caused him to hault all actions. The younger observed her features carefully as she spoke, even noting the brief moment of weakness that befell her. It was quickly written over, however; seems Moonstruck was not the only one who liked to hide any signs that did not involve strength. "Come up here to think something over?" He inquired, gaze focused on the outer kingdom rather than Lorina herself.
