    Okay, i have watched h2o and mako mermaids and such and now im like i wanna rp in that idea. Im not sure if this rp will have much interest yet so i dont wanna go through all this effort and like nobody join soooo im throwing out the idea of this world of mermaids. It will be similar to the show so i would prefer you atleast seen the shows and such because i dont wanna explain every bit.


    Im just looking for 2 or 3 ppl in interest before i make the whole thing

    Age: 16
    Personality: Jess has a very adventurous mind. She loves to travel, party, have fun, just enjoy life. She can be very *y and mean at first but its jsut because her gaurd is always up, never down. She often wears a hat to cover her face, she hate being personal with people but she never really met anyone who will treat her how she wanted to.
    History: Jess has always been the kid in the water, she loved it, memorized by its qualities. She loved how water moved while she swam in it. Jess since she was young was plopped right onto a surfer board with her dad and mom. They taught her many things even before she could ride a bike. Jess spent years of training on a borad, exercising, getting healthy and such. Then one night during a full moon her parents were fighting. She was 13 at the time and things were being thrown and everything went downhill. She grabbed there mini boat off there dock this night and left. She continued down the water a few miles and came across this magical island. For some stupid reason she pulled over by a wall of the island and hopped in the water. She saw this glowing light that lead through this tunnel and followed it. This tunnel unded up being how she got this tail. She found this place and left and went back home. Once she arrived home both of her parents were gone and things were smashed all over. She decided to leave that night, went upstairs packed most of her things in a backpack. grabbed her surfboard, attached it to her bike and headed her merry way. The next day when she was going to go out for a wave a tail appeared once she touched water. IT frightened her but she got out the water and dried off and legs appeared once again. She then found this run down shack one the ocean side and made it her home. She spends most of her time there and doesn't really leave it.
    How long have they been a mermaid/merman: since she was 13 so a good solid 3 years
    Specific Powers: (deals with water, freezing, heating, control, can start with basic and gains more power as thread goes on) Jess had have much time and became very good at control of water. She can heat it, freeze it, control it, she has been working on weather currently, only have gotten wind and the smalled spark of lighting.
    Family: Mom and Dad, unknown location
    Hobbies: Was surfing, swimming, but no just drawing, practicing powers, adventuring by herself.

    Personality: kiren is rather fun-loving and one to hang out with and quite much be friends with. she hardly ever finds any problems with anyone, and takes almost nothing seriously. she occasionally breaks the rules, and makes sure that she isn't seen breaking them, and only her closest friends who swear on their lives not to tell does she actually include them in.
    History: kiren was born and raised a human, growing up on an island just a boat ride away from mako island. while out one day, she had gone out on her boat, but it faltered and she was forced to swim to the nearest island, which happened to be mako island. after getting to the island, it had already become night and she headed to the volcano, knowing it was dormant. finding a small pool in the center, she decided to wait and relax there awhile. after the full moon shone atop the waters, she attempted to get out, but she realized she no longer had legs. startled, she figured she was sleeping and did everything she could to get rid of the scales. she found that a few others had gathered around after her attempts, and she made aquatints as she realized that she had, indeed, become a mermaid.
    How long have they been a mermaid/merman: about three years
    Specific Powers: just creating mist or fog, and controlling it
    Family: none that she remembered
    Hobbies: simply hanging out, occasionally collecting sea shells and spying on humans
    Extra stuff/questions: if it's alright, can her history be a mystery until later? i can develop it in the rp

    Okay, one thing is s bit confusing.
    What exactly is a human with the abilities of a mermaid? Pardon my obliviousness, butbutbut[/fancypost][/fancypost][/fancypost]

    Lol its cool, and like they are born human but get the ablitly to be a mermaid. For example, my girl, she one day discover an unusual power source and gained the ablitly to become a mermaid (hopefully that clear is up a little xP )

    Personality:Riley is a party loving, surfing girl. Whenever she's not looking for a party she's surfing her heart out. She is a fun loving girl who cares deeply about the ocean and thinks of it as her life.
    History:Riley never knew her parents. She grew up in a orphanage were she was constantly abused for years, until a rich couple adopted her. One day while her adoptive parents were on a business trip she snuck away from her nanny when she was 12 and took the family boat for a sail. She saw a mysterious island and light coming from the ocean, so she dove in and followed the light into a pool of water were she became a mermaid and has been since.
    How long have they been a mermaid/merman:5 years
    Specific Powers: She has the power to control fire
    Family: Just her adopted parents
    Hobbies:surfing, partying, and diving

    Jessica woke up like usual, the sun wakes her up at 8 am everyday. She wants to block it but always forgets. Jess sat up from her bed and stretched. It was early enough where most people weren't on the beaches so she could just walk alone. She grabbed her swimsuit and board shorts and slipped them on. Next she grabbed her lucky hat and slipped it on. She then grabbed some shoes and start towards the beach alone.

    Riley's alarm clock woke her up at 8:00. She stretched and climbed out of bed. Deciding to go to the beach she put on her swim top and swim shorts along with her flip flops. She grabbed her surf board and walked out of her adopted parents mansion heading to the beach.

    Jess finally reached the sand part of the beach and she smiled. She didn't want to go to far away from her house unsure who would be out at this time. After walking about half a mile she sat down on the sand to soak up early sun and to watch the waves come threw. She missed the ocean greatly. She used to surf for hours but since she got the tail, and can't get wet she must watch everyone else live her dream.
