Riddlekit smiled, looking at the lake waters. Diving wouldn't be that hard, right? He padded up to the edge, looking at his small reflection. This might have a good turn out! Riddlekit scanned the surface for hippos, crocs, or something deadly like that before leaping in.
Riddlekit opened his Amber eyes and scanned around, only seeing things like rocks and a crab. Boring! This place was to shallow! Bobbing his head up, he paddled with small paws father into the lake, and dove under. Still rocks but way more interesting. Like, one was purple. And was that a shrimp? Oh, two crabs walking sideways. That was interesting, but what caught his eyes the most was shiny, and pointed.
Riddlekit spiraled upward, taking a lung full of air before immediately diving back down under. There was NO WAY he was losing sight of that rock! He used his paws to push him forward until he could grab the mysterious object, which he did. With his prize in his jaws, he pushed against the sand to launch upward and to the surface.
Riddle made his way to the shore, very happy with himself for actually finding something cool. The shore was a foot away, and with one last stroke, he could touch the bottom. He waded over to land and dropped the... What was it. It seemed to be a beaded necklace with some sort of pedant. With closer observation, he saw it was a blade. With all these captures, this would come in handy.
Riddlekit took a look around, and saw a baby turtle staring deep into his soul. Riddle took a step back, and the turtle took a step forward. Riddle took a step right, the turtle did to. Cool beans! A turtle was following him! "I'm gonna name you Tudy, little guy. I will protect you just stay by my side." He told the baby turtle, approaching him and patting his baby turtle head.
Riddlekit looked around again, this time with the necklace around his neck a reptilian companion!
