He growled, continuing to run, casting a glance behind him.

Badgerstar padded back to his camp to have a meeting.
Tsunami was worried, for her mate wasn't back yet.
-
He groaned, sitting down to quickly lick up the blood all over him, rolling in ferns to cover his scent, making his way to their den.
-
Tsunami a scented the air as she heard a cat coming her way yet didn't scent her mate
-
He groaned, collapsing near the den, blinking rapidly.
-
"Hello?" She yelped.
-
He groaned again, managing to get to his paws once more, once again collapsing right at the entrance. "T--tsunami.."
-
She got up and raced forward, forgetting her bloated, pregnant belly. She stopped at his side and stared at him. "Babe!! What happened?!"
-
"B--Badgerstar.." he mumbled
-
She began to lap the blood off of him immediately.
-
He let out a small whimper. "B--babe.. you s--should focus on the n--neck wound.."
-
She lapped at the neck wound and padded to the back of the den. She returned with cobwebs and marigold a he had stored there. She chewed the marigold and rubbed the salve into the wound before applying cobwebs thickly onto it. She then used the rest of the marigold and cobwebs to apply to the rest of his wounds.
-
He winced every time she used the marigold, not complaining once as she tended to his wounds. "Thanks, babe..."
-
"Of course, babe.... anything for you...." She purred.
-
He smiled, reaching up and licking her cheek. "I would also do anything for you, too.. which is why I got hurt..." he mumbled
-
"Oh babe.... You shouldn't have gone into the forest for a sparrow.... This is all my fault...." Her gaze glazed over ad the realization hit her.
-
"It's not your fault, babe, it's mine for thinking it was a smart idea going into the forest." he mumbled, "It was a mouse-brain move on my part."
-
"No babe, I never should've asked you...." She whimpered.
-
"It's okay, babe, I'm still alive, so you don't need to blame yourself for this." he mumbled, reaching up and nuzzling her.
-
She felt a searing pain in her stomache and gasped, her claws clenching deep into the moss below them.
