    [font=monospace]Quickstep didn't want to go back down to the clearing, especially since he was just there. He didn't want to look weird and indecisive. He decided to go into the medicine den and started arranging the herbs. They were already quite orderly, but he arranged them anyway.


    Molefoot glanced around the clearing for his apprentice (?? ??).

    Doveleap & Celsiuskit
    Doveleap dunked Celsiuskit into the water anyway, and hopped in herself, getting nice and wet. She loved the water, but she loved the trees more. Her gaze rested on Celsiuskit as he ran out of the water, spraying water everywhere as he shook himself off.

    I gazed at the tom. "Try out some of your moves on me..." I purred amusedly. This would be a fun practice for the young cat. Not that my practices aren't fun or anything... But... I always enjoyed these practices the most. Fighting and hunting were my favorite practices, except when I fell. "And try not to fall. The trees are lower and there are a LOT of leaves below for a reason. The point is to master your techniques, alright?"

    Dewfall nodded, hopping back up onto the limb. "Come along leafpaw." She mentioned, turning to the entrance and pushing her way in. She moved to the far side of the denswiping three different leaves. A couple of herries neatly in each one. "Now, can you remember which one of these is a Deathberry? And when you find it I want you to tell me why it shouldn't ever be mistaken for any other kind of berry, even in a rush."

    [font=monospace]Quickstep looked over his helper and his apprentice before going back to doing absolutely nothing. He wondered if there was any food yet. He was hungry.

    Leafpaw pointed her tail at the red berry with the spiky leaves. "I'm pretty sure this one is the Death Berry. It shouldn't be mistaken for any other berry (even in a rush) because a few of them could kill a cat after they eat them."


    Ashpaw quickly hoped on a higher branch then tackled his mentor.

    He had to jump up, and then he came for me. Fortunately, he nipped my tail. What a fast tom! Perhaps he could become the fastest runner in our clan. My paws kept moving, and I began to circle him. then I leaped out of rotation towards the 'entrance'. It was bait, but he didn't know.

    Dewfall nodded "Exactly. The spiked leaves are usually always left on Death berries in storage, because thats the quickest way to identify them but it doesn't mean that it still doesnt happen. Leafpaw. What do we do if a cat swallows a death berry and we are able to react fast enough?" She mewed. If she didn't know, she'd tell her again.

    Leafpaw thought for a moment. She sighed and said, "I forgot"


    Ashpaw could tell that it was bait. He jumped to the branch behind Inkprint then (tried to) kick(ed) him down.

    Dewfall looked down at her kindly. "If you catch it in time you must use Yarrow. That will hopefully force them to vomit up the berries. Its the only shot at saving their life."

    IC: Minnowtail sat down just on the edge of the clearing. Scanned the open area, looking for a cat to talk to.

    Dewfall nodded, wrapping the berries back up and placing them back into their slots. "That's very good, Leafpaw. Your progress has done very well lately." She mewed quietly, in a pleased manner. Leafpaw had been doing fairly well, and she had been impressed. As she slid the last beech leaf into place, her ear flicked. "Hm...I suppose I'll need to go find more Tansy soon. That will be important this season..." she mewed to herself, but looking at Leafpaw. "Any other questions?" she asked the apprentice.


    Thrushpaw bounded over to Phoenixfire. "Mornin' Phoenixfire! Got anything planned today?" He asked, somehow energized though he had recently been pining for a good vole.
