    Sarabi shook her head. "Cubs will be cubs. You are lucky to have her, she seems very bright," she said, a little wistfully. She sighed inwardly, thinking of Abasi.

    Uzuri smiled slightly at the wistful smile on Sarabi's face."Don't worry. That stupid lion will wake up one day and realize what is right in front of him." Uzuri meowed, laying her tail across the lioness's back.

    Sarabi let out an embarrassed laugh. "Hopefully," she said. "Maybe he wants someone who is a better hunter. Should I go and practice more?"

    Uzuri looked at the lioness firmly. "now, don't go changing for some lion. He has to take you as you are or he doesn't deserve you."

    "I wouldn't be changing who I was, I'd just be becoming better at what I enjoy doing. I adore the hunt. The rush I get when I sink my teeth into my prey's throat...it's invigorating," she said.

    Uzuri looked down sadly at her lame hind paw. "Oh, how I wish I could still hunt. there is nothing quite like it."

    Amara smiled and padded over to Akilli and Kokota,"Hi!" She said happily.

    Surane and Sundata weren't listening to any of the other lions but were whispering to eachother quietly so no other lion would hear.

    Sarabi nodded sadly. "I always looked forward to you teaching me how to hunt when I was a cub. Everyone was devastated when the accident happened."

    "Yes, but at least my Abasi was ready to take over," Uzuri said, though there was a wistful look in her eyes.

    Sarabi licked her shoulder comfortingly. "You were a wonderful Queen, and your brother is one of the best kings ever known. He equals his father. I only wish he had as clear sight," she chuckled.

    Sarabi stretched out in the afternoon sun, loving the way it warmed her short pelt.

    Mala padded out a streched. She had had a rough night.

    Abasi was fast asleep under a shady tree.



    Azola kicked a bone around in the outlands, muttering to herself.

    OOC: Nothing much. Leona took some cubs hunting, Uzuri figured out that Sarabi liked Abasi.



    IC: Sarabi relaxed and laid her head on her paws.

    Ema padded to camp with a small gazelle in her mouth

    Pondera felt a kick in her belly. She knew that her cubs would come soon.
