  • ~Amara~

Amara jumped up,"See we don't have to leave now." Amara said joyfully. She padded over to Akilli and bowed her head,"Thank you." She said smiling at him.

    ~Surane~

Surane ran over to Amara making sure no body tried to touch her and ready to grab her and run if someone attempted something.

    ~Sundata~

Sundata hesitated for a moment but he knew neither of his sisters could go farther nor could he. He sighed and nodded to them,"Thank you." He said and padded over towards his sisters.

  • Kokoto walked up to Leona, light green eyes shining. She flicked her tail, indicating for Akili to stand next to them.

Mkali retracted her black claws, but still looked at the strangers warily.

Uzuri smiled at the newcomers. She limped over to them."Hello, I am Uzuri." the former queen greeted herself.

  • Sarabi smiled fondly at Uzuri. "She has one of the kindest and purest hearts in the Pride," she said to the newcomers.

Leona nodded. "All right, let's go. Ill show you how I hunted that warthog."

  • Abby, a teenage-lion, made her way to a nice rock to sunbathe. Although her family had been killed and she was once a part of the pridelands before running away, she wanted back in. She hated life as a loner. It was lonely and sad.

  • Storm looked at the cubs from his resting spot.

  • Sarabi went over to Storm and laid down next to him, soaking up the sunshine.

  • Sarabi smiled fondly at Uzuri. "She has one of the kindest and purest hearts in the Pride," she said to the newcomers.

Leona nodded. "All right, let's go. Ill show you how I hunted that warthog."

Akili followed eagerly but then he heard his father speak.

"Askili, you'll stay with me. I must teach you the ways of being a king. Then we may go on a small hunt. But probably for a warthog, not big on running after gazelle."

    Akili sighed and nodded "Okay."

Abasi looked at Akili. "But...I suppose my little lesson can wait, go on." he meowed, a smile on his face.

Akili brightened up and ran after Amana who was hopping eagerly around Leona.

"Hey Leona did you know I once killed a mouse? It was a monster mouse the size of your paw and he would've eaten my brother for sure if I hadn't saved him in time!" Amana bragged.

"He was the size of a regular mouse and he only bit my paw." Akili grumbled.

  • Leona smiled and dipped her head to Abasi, then chuckled at the cubs. "If it was as big as my paw, then it would be a rat and those taste awful. Trust me," she said.

  • "Thank you, Sarabi," Uzuri said kindly.

Kokoto smiled when she saw that Akili was coming. When she heard the mouse story. "I don't know Akili. The way you fight, you're lucky she stopped that mouse." Kokoto t4ased lightly.

  • Leona came to a graceful stop. "Hush, and watch the master," she said, watching a clearing with a bunch of burrows and warthogs and their piglets running around. "Stay here." She ran into the clearing with a roar and all the warthogs ran to their burrows. She darted over to the side of one, out of sight, and jumped a warthog when it barely had it's snout through the entrance.

  • Storm yawned and rolled over. His grayish fur caught the sunlight. (He's part albino.)

  • ~Amara~

Amara watched the cubs go longingly. She wanted to go with them even though she didn't know them. She felt absolutely left out but she knew she should hold her tongue. Her paws were shuffling because she wanted to go so bad. She wasn't tired and she wanted to the things she did in her old pride and that's explore and learn new things.

    ~Sundata~

Sundata looked at Amara,"Amara cut it out we are not staying forever." He said knowing what she wanted. He saw Amara lower her head sadly but she said nothing and Sundata looked back at Abasi,"Thank you for letting us stay. We promise not to be a bother." Sundata said respectfully with his head held high even though he was exhausted. Sundata was a gentleman and he wasn't very stubborn so he knew when it was time to say if he was wrong or right.

    ~Surane~

Surane looked at Amara sadly but this was not there pride so Amara couldn't join in with the other cubs. She looked away from Amara and looked at Abasi and listened to what her brother said. When he was finished she bowed her head and added,"I was a great hunter in my other pride so I can hunt here too as a gift of graditude for the pride." Surane said.

  • Kokoto saw the look in Amara's eyes, and the cub felt torn. She wanted to just spend time with her friends, Akili and Anara. She shook her tawny head to rid herself of those thoughts, realizing how selfish they were. She raised one paw and poked Akili, claws sheathed."Can the new cub come with us?" she asked, trying to look her cutest.

  • Storm looked at them.

  • Sarabi looked at Sundata. "Your cub may go with the other cubs if she wishes to. We would be delighted to teach her," she said, glancing at Kokoto.

Leona looked at the others. "Come on, let's drag this back," she said, then hauled the warthog back on her shoulders. She placed it in front of the newcomers. "You must be very hungry from your journey. You can have this, there is already one at Pride Rock."

  • ~Amara~

Amara perked up,"Really?!" She asked excitedly then looked at Surane and Sundata hopefully.

    ~Sundata~

Sundata hesitated,"I don't know." He said then looked in to Amaras pleading eyes and sighed,"Allright." He said and watched as Amara jumped in joy and ran towards the other cubs. Sundata then looked at the lioness and bowed his head,"Thank you." He said and padded over.

    ~Surane~

Surane nodded and followed Sundata and whispered in to his ear,"Are you sure we should let Amara go off with them?" Surane asked. She saw an uncertain look on his face as he nodded. Surane looked away from him and kept padding.
