Jaggedstrike had smiled at Smallspeckled as the little Tom had batted him, but now he was sitting in full attention. He was very surprised how nice and welcoming the clan was, and wanted to bask in it for now. Just in case it took a turn for the worse. He padded closer to the rock, knowing very well he's be called and he should be ready. He was thankfully well groomed, unlike how he had entered the camp. He would respond to Bearpaw later in full, now that he rembered. But he had smiled and thanked him in the moment.

Bearpaw smiled, and approached High rock, since he was exceedingly proficient for hunting by himself without help. He raised his ears, and lashed his dark brown tail with a little cock to the side with his head out of curiosity.

I got bored so I typed up what happened when Crowcatcher left Moonclan! Cx

Crowcatcher had been sitting quietly with his daughter, still mourning for her beautiful mother.” It’ll get better.” He meowed to his pretty child, nuzzling her gently. His eyes beyond sad, Oh my love, how could you leave us? He thought to himself, and then the idea struck him. Shall we join you? Crowcatcher was so desperate to see his love again that he’d do anything to see her. Then, together in Starclan, his family could be together again and he wouldn’t be forced to look at Nightkit. He recalled the day her mother, his mate had died, calling her into the entrance to camp, his mate’s cold body on his shoulders, the wetness seeping through his fur, he remembered the look of innocence he’d given her when she’d seen Bumbleberry. Sadness flowed over Crowcatcher, shaking the memory from his head,” Go..Go uh get some rest.” He meowed to Nightkit, who turned-tail and dragged her paws to the nursery. He’d need to think about his plot. Padding to the warrior’s den to rest, he noticed Bumbleberry’s scent faint and stale, and his nest cold and empty. Plopping down and falling asleep to the lulls of gentle snores.
The next morning when Crowcatcher woke, he noticed the sun hadn’t risen yet, and he decided to go through with his plan. His paws felt heavier, and he moved slower, waking his tiny daughter.” Nightkit, come on. I wanna show you something.” He meowed to his daughter, making a point of being gentle.” But daddy…the sun is up..” She mumbled,” You wanna be a warrior?” He asked, and his daughter poked up,” Come on!” He laughed quietly,” We have to be quiet, we’re gonna play a game, alright? We have to sneak out of Fireclan’s camp? Okay?” He meowed, engrossing tiny Nightkit, her attention on the game. Crowcatcher watched as she padded out, her innocent eyes finding wonder in the game. He had to do it quickly, so she wouldn’t suffer… As the arrived to the clearing his gentle eyes fell onto his daughter,” Nightkit, come here.” He meowed, his daughter doing as she was told.” You look so much like your mother…” He breathed,” Nightkit, do you wanna go with daddy to see mommy again?” He asked, physically unable to move. Nightkit looked excited,” Yes! Is mommy here?” She asked, looking around,” Daddy?” She asked, nudging her father. Crowcatcher unsheathed his claws,” No, we’re gonna go find her,” He meowed. Crowcatcher felt so heavy, and he felt liked he moved in slow motion, his claws, cutting through Nightkit’s thin skin, her squeal sending the birds overhead away, he’d never seen so much blood come from something no bigger than a squirrel, he felt sick.” Shh…Nightkit..Daddy’s sorry..” He meowed quickly, terrified for his daughter. Nightkit began mewling in pain, her paws kicking out, her breaths troubled and gurgled, in a desperate attempt to end her pain, Crowcatcher shoved leaves against her wounds,” Starclan please!” He wailed, how could he!? Sickened to the point of weakness Crowcatcher left, leaving his daughter behind, leaving her to be found by a patrol, or a vulture, anything but his sickening paws. He could hear her wails, growing quieter and quieter as he ran. He hadn’t looked back since that faithful day, never caring to know what had become of Nightkit, how long she was in pain, how long she stayed recovering in the medicine den… He didn’t know, he didn’t want to know!

Crowcatcher's cold eyes starting growing impatient, though, he hadn't moved and he still gorged himself upon a crow. His namesake and favorite food. The tom wondered what Redstar wanted this time.

"Today we will be accepting a new member into the clan, he will be welcomed and put into are ranks as a fellow warrior of Fireclan. I, Redstar, would like everyone to welcome Jaggedstrike, as a full warrior of Fireclan." He spoke loudly, making sure that everyone knew to treat the new warrior kindly,"Along with this, from this moment on Jaggedstrike will be Bearpaws mentor, and Bravewillow will mentor Redpaw from now on. Train them well. Clan dismissed!" He looked down at his new warrior and jumped from the High Rock,"Welcome to Fireclan, Jaggedstrike." The leader raised his head high and nodded to the tom, grinning.

Bearpaw's pride swelled up inside him as he was announced Jaggedstrike's apprentice. The young tom grinned proudly, and he puffed his chest out a bit. He had always been known as the apprentice, who was surprisingly at the top of his rank, and yet he still handy gotten a mentor. There was so much he could perfect now, with an actual mentor.

Jaggedstrike smiled at Redstar gratefully. "Thank you, I won't let you down" rumbled the large warrior, smiling. He then turned to his new apprentice, leaning down to touch noses with him. After he lingered by his ear. "Don't worry, I've had an apprentice before, you'll be okay" he purred, pulling back to his full hieght . The once handsome muscular warrior then walked forward,
Flicking his tail. If your open we can go for a walk around the territory, but unlike ceremony states you can be the one to show ME around!" He chuckled slightly, eyes flashing happily. He felt very at ease, and he had forgotten his worrys. For now.

Bearpaw chuckled slightly, his already deep voice more mature than most apprentice's would. He flicked his tail, and began to head out of camp with a big ol' smile on his maw. "Okay, so around here is where most go to hunt. The borders are around here as well, but further off north." He explains dto his new mentor.

Jaggedstrike smiled down at Applecore, "thank you." he purred roughly. Than with one final smile he turned away to catch after Bearpaw, flicking her shoulder with his tail in the process, easily catching up to the apprentice in long strides.

As he walked with his apprentice, he couldn't help wondering why this cat had no mentor for a while, but he didn't ask. Instead he nodded and looked around as things were pointed out.

Bearpaw glanced over at his mentor, and flicked an ear. "I bet you're wondering why I didn't have a mentor, right?" He asked the tom with a quieter voice than usual. They were both nearing the borders up north. He sighed quietly, and flicked his tail, and he suddenly clenched his teeth in pain as a thorn went into his paw. He growled, and took seat on a tree stump, and tried getting it out himself with struggle.

Bravewillow nudged Mapleleaves." Should I go talk to him?" She asked, abit nervous to talk to her first apprentice. Anxiety radiated off of her, though she was excited. Her tail began lashing, quite curious about how Redpaw would grow.

Crowcatcher's eyes watched Bravewillow, she was so inexperienced and young. And Jaggedstrike was being given trust to soon. His silvery black fur bristling slightly, rising to his paws once he'd finish eating his share. Disinterest in his eyes.

Jaggedstrike nodded,"True, but let's take care of that thronfirst" he said. Gently he nosed Bearpaw away from it, and then softly grabbed it with his front teeth. Carefully he tugged slowly soon thing would be left in there. Suddenly, their was a pain in his heart. This was a medicine cats job, this is what she did. He shuddered, shutting his eyes tight as he pulled the thorn out completely, tossing it away disdainfully. "Are you okay?" He meowed, looking the cat he had just met today up and down.
