    If I buy something that permits me to be something other than a cat, like a unicorn, dragon, or kitsune in the main game, that means I can join just about any thread and apply to be any of those creatures? I just want to make sure and not make a fool of myself.

    The only thing is that each item is only for one character. So if you want three dinosours, you have to buy three of the dino item.
