    The kit shook his head again. ''Should I take him to Star?'' Rock meowed, sitting down.

    ''My throat hurts a little..'' The kit rasped. Rock lay the kit on the ground, and padded to Star's den. Star padded out of the den.

    "heart will you watch him?" river asked "yea sure" heart said river nodded then padded into the medicine cats den looking for the honey.

    ''How did this kit get here?'' Star meowed. ''I'm not some kit!'' He sqeaked.

    river finally spotted the honey "ah-ha" he said to himself then took a small peace of the comb and walked back over to the kit "lick this up it will help your throught" river said.

    "so whats your name kit" cloud asked.

    "yea and were did you come from" heart asked.

    "hello skykit my name is river that surges past but you can call me river" river purred.

    cloud stepped forward"im river's younger sister my name is cloud that drifts in the wind but call me cloud" she said.

    "and im heart but my full name is heart of shining stone and im their older sister" heart said while pointing to river and cloud

    ''My name's Rock Where Earth Lies, but call me Rock.'' Rock meowed. ''My name's Star That Shines In The Night, but call me Star.'' Star meowed.



    Skykit looked impressed. ''Why do you all have such silly names?'' He meowed, bursting out into laughter.

    "because when your in a tribe like this one you have to have names like mine,clouds,and heart" river purred.

    ''But why? Can't you have names like Mintleaf, or Darkheart, your names are so stupid!'' Skykit meowed.

    clouds fur bristled and she let out a low growl then stalked to the apprentices den.

    heart nodded her head in agreement.

    "well we are sorta like clan cats but our beliefs and rules are different" river said "am i right star?" he asked.

    Star nodded. '' For clan cats, they can't eat until they've fed the others, but for us, we can eat, as long as we've caught one piece of fresh-kill. You can't eat the piece you caught, but you can eat another piece you caught as long as you come back to the camp with at least one piece of fresh-kill.''



    ''Thats...wow... But isn't that breaking the warrior code?'' Skykit meowed.
