    Plot:(Romance) A human girl moves to ward 20 with barely any knowledge of ghouls. You see her get into trouble and protect her. You do your best to keep her from knowing your a ghoul but she finds out in the end and accepts you anyway.

    Rachel sighed as she began walking to her new apartment. She had only stayed there once and knew the way there was in backstreets and alleyways she had been warned that there were powerful and binge eating Ghouls but she just shrugged them off as urban legends with every ward. She pulled her bag up her shoulder when she felt like she was being watched.

    Satoshi was on the prowl once again, his mind set not on hunting, but simply on... Running. It was funny, humans did this all of the time, and until recently he hadn't taken on doing it wither. After all, he was a ghoul. He could run far longer than any normal human, and that was the beauty of it. Whilst the mind went and thought about something, your body would be moving, preventing you from getting restless...


    On any case, that is what Satoshi was doing when he heard it, and smelt it. The smell around so many binge eating ghoul crime scenes, the local glutton of the 20th ward.

    Rachel sighed a little glad she was close to home,darkness always creepped her out maybe because she never knew what was in it. So many shadows during the day and many more at night like it was a curse of the world. She turned left into the last street and paused losing her breath instantly when she saw a girl there with flamingo red hair...A ghoul just her luck she would die like this. Her laughter echoed "Why what a pretty little meal..won't be enough tonight"it sounded like a whisper

    Satoshi looked into the dark alleyways in a unsure manner, part of him curious, however the majority of his brain telling him to back off. Putting a hand into his brown hair, Satoshi concentrated, his ears honing in on some voices. The binge eater was inside the hallway, and by the sound of the accelerated breathing, so was a human.


    Satoshi was left with a choice, walk away like a normal ghoul, or go in after the human, and help. Better judgement said to back away, butbif nobkdybstood up and moved forwards, there wouldn't be a story... Right? Quickly Satoshi slipped into the alleyways, his feet making no sound as he approached the two beings.

    The girl ghoul had her eyes closed but sniffed "You shouldn't interrupted when someone's trying to eat"she growled. Placing a hand on Rachel pushing her to the wall harshly watching her head bounce of the wall she let out a little groans before falling to the floor unconscious. The girl laughed "So fragile..one push and it's easy"

    Satoshi stepped into the alleyway that they were in, his hand clenched into a fist. "Interrupting your meal? I'm sorry, but if that is anyone's meal..." Satoshi began, then let six pitch black kagune slip out of his back with a small grin, "it's mine" he finished. Of course, he didn't Really want to eat this girl, all that he wanted was to save her, however he doubted other ghouls would take kindly to the fact that he had saved a uman...

    The girl laughed "Oh dear it seems like your a persistent one. She's just one of many"She hissed letting her wings burst out her back and imediatly shards sent flying in his direction. Of course shehad to by time there was only so much battle she could barely. Endurance was not her best quality but speed was maybe she should abondin this girl for a better meal she doubted she could take down satoshi

    Satoshi narrowed his eyes as the girl took out her kagune. He had already won. Satoshi never really used his kagune, as it's colour was black. Rinkaku's were supposed to be a crimson red, however Satoshi's was a pitch black, which was abnormal. He couldn't let himself count on his kagune, in case it cost him his life, so this meant that he had to rely on fighting without his kagune. This made him stronger, faster and more agile than a normal ghoul, and this fight was going to be no exception with the performance romance of the ghoul ahead of him.


    The six black kagune suddenly hammered into the ground in front of himself, creating a wall that the shard could not get through, then suddenly, when the raining shards were almost finished, the black kagunes disintegrated, leaving behind an empty alleyway. Of course, realisation always hit ghoulsbas they tried to look behind themselves, Ukaku, speed type ghouls especially. However, Satoshi was faster than their reactions, and his heel drove at full force into thebknife of the female ghoul without mercy.

    The girl hissed and knew she was at a disadvantage she held her side and jumped high onto the roof of the apartment building her kagune disaster as she growled and ran off leaving him with the use conscious Rachel sprawled on the floor inches away from her home. From safety

    Satoshi watched the female ghoul disappear with a small nod of approval to himself, then walked over to the presumed unconscious girl, scooping her up in his arms with a small grunt. With a slightly reddened face, he lifted her slightly higher and sniffed her neck... She smelt good. Wait no, he couldn't afford to think like that! If she used this trail often, her scent should lead to the girls house. But it was strange, the scent seemed to end straight here.

    Rchel coughed and opened her eyes groggily not bothering to question the fact he had her in his arms She looked around and remembered the ghoul knocking her out she groaned her head was pounding She looked uo at him and realised he must be confused as to where she lived she pointed to the 3rd floor of the building just in front of them

    Satoshi nearly lost his cool as she suddenly pointed, having thought she was out cold, "you live up there?" he asked her quietly, then looked up. She was pointing at the third floor of this building... It explained Alot. Walking towards the building. He gently shouldered open the door and looked up the flight of stairs, walking to the third floor. Once there, he found the door and placed the girl gently on the ground, turning to face her, "hey, you got a key?" he questioned, his eyes slightly worried with the condition she was in.

    She fumbled in her coat pocket before getting out the bronze key and opening the door Shesighed and walked in putting her bag down and her coat on the back of the door "Sorry to be such a bother...Thank you"She said rubbing the back of her head "Can I offer you a beverage?"She asked hoping to make it up to him for helping her whatever he did to scare the girl away worked and she was imensly greatfal

    Satoshi nodded slowly then smiled, thinkingbthings over in his head quickly, "you know, a cup of coffee would be great... But if you don't have any, water will be fine" Satoshi said slowly, rubbing the back of his head as he looked at the girls injury from a distance, "but first, let's check out that cut on your head. You were knocked hard enough to go out cold"

    Rachel shrugged "Its fine really..well who am I kidding get it did hurt a lot"She sighed turning round for him to see. She wondered who this good samaritan was to have been able to save her from a ghoul attack without any CCG around and he didn't seem to have a single scratch "Whats your name?"she asked softly

    Satoshi hesitate before replying, leading her to her couch where he sat her down, then only spoke when He had a thick wad of tissue in his hand, "my name is Satoshi " he finally answered, locating the wound and putting some pressure on her wound, "what's yours?"

    She sighed "Rachel I just moved here from ward 15"She replied already feeling a little bit better she moved his hand and applied the pressure herself standing back up "Really thanks"She smiled a little before heading into the kitchen to start making the coffee. Rachel couldn't help but wonder what happened whilst she was out cold. She returned to the living room handing him the mug before sitting back down with some water "So I'm guessing she was one of thoose binge eaters I've been warned about?"she asked

    "Yeah I guess so..." Satoshi replied after a moments hesitation. Luckily, the girl didn't seem to remember anything, otherwise who knows what would have to happen? "Your lucky she seemed to be just toying with you instead of actually hunting" he then lied, dropping his hand to his side as she took the tissue and he stood up, looking around Racheals house quietly. She seemed to live alone, which was dangerous for a person if they invited a ghoul like himself in, "so why do you live by yourself then?" he questioned, forgetting that he was supposed to be pretending to be a human for a second.
