•Personality• •Innocent•Cheerful•Humorous•Energetic• Leafpaw is a cute, happy-go-lucky cat who just loves to have fun with others. She likes it best when she can help out, and when she can't do anything, she can get upset. She never gets mad, but cries very, very often. She gets back on her feet very quickly, however. She is jumpy and full of energy, like a kit, but when she has work to do, she does her best to stay calm. One of the unique things about Leafpaw is that she's a Turkish Van cat. Her fur is waterproof and she loves swimming. She will swim in the lake whenever she gets the chance.
•History• Leafpaw's mother was a kittypet named Amelia. Amelia was a Turkish Van mix who lived in a small group of houses, not even a neighborhood, on the far border of MoonClan territory. Her owners were a twoleg couple who loved Amelia very much and they were happy together. One day, Amelia was wandering when she came across Venice, a handsome white tomcat who lived a few blocks away. The two fell almost immediately in love, which was a mistake on their part. Everything came too quickly, and Amelia's owners had neglected to spay her. Unfortunately Amelia became pregnant the first night she met Venice, and she never saw him again. When Amelia's twolegs discovered her pregnancy, they were devastated. They both worked long hours and could never stay home to watch kittens, and the nearest animal shelter euthanized a lot of their pets. They ultimately decided to make a bed for Amelia in the closet and hope she could take care of the kittens while the twolegs were away.

A few months later Amelia gave birth to three kittens.The first was a tragic stillborn. The second was a tiny, sickly runt named Autumn (who would one day become Leafpaw), and the only healthy one was a tom named Venice, after his father. Amelia struggled to care for the kittens for the first few days. Autumn was incredibly small and weak, and she was very sick. She didn't have claws, either. Venice was dominating the little kitten and sometimes injuring her.

Despite the hardships, the kittens pulled through and made it to 3 moons of age safely. At this age, both were hearing, seeing, and walking just fine. Autumn was still tiny and clawless, but she was no longer sick. As they developed personalities Venice started bullying his little sister- a lot. Without twolegs there to help and Amelia getting very weak, Autumn often had to fend for herself, which she was pretty awful at. Amelia was starting to wind down. Whether it was age or the exhaustion of raising kits on her own, she wasn't doing too well. Autumn hated how her life was and one day she finally gave up and left out the cat door, leaving her family behind. She tried to brave the leaf-bare storms, but her fur was thin and she had never experienced anything colder than room temperature. She had no claws to hunt with, even if she did know how, which she didn't. One time she had found a hole to sleep in only to be chased out by a rabbit. Though her journey was very short at four days long, she was cold and starving by the time she was discovered by a patrol. They couldn't just let a kit die, so they took her in and brought her back to health. When she got to know the clan, Autumn decided that she wanted to stay for good. The name Autumn was gibberish in cat language (like Tom or Sarah) so she changed her name to Leafkit and started a new life, hoping to forget her short but hurtful past. However, her history is far closer than she knows, and it may just come around to bite her... *see Violet ;) *
•Activity Level• Varying. During the day I may or may not be out doing something. Morning and evening, I'm usually pretty active.
•Roleplay Example• Leafpaw stepped out of her den into the morning fog, shaking her pelt lightly. She squinted. The grey mist gave the camp a muted, silent feel, and it was even more quiet than most mornings. She couldn't see the exit from here, it was so foggy. Stretching, she suddenly felt the bite of the wind and promptly trotted back inside. She didn't really want to be out in the cold if she didn't have to. Her paws skidded over the cold earth without any claws to sink into it.
