    Alford touched her chin with his hand "I just don't want you hurt in any way and if anything hurts you I want to keep you safe how about we work on teaching you how to shift into an animal tomorrow night it will help you in battle as well as help you escape danger" he said then he blinked "wait when did you learn the A holes name" he said.

    Alexa didn't know quite how to react "Oh it just. Was in my head. And maybe I don't know. I just don't know how to think right now"She looked at the ground without moving her head before looking back up at him "I keep feeling this..emotion and it's fighting all the others. And I'm scared to let it win"She admitted

    Alford sighed and moved his hand away "ya emotions can be demanding like that" he said as he backed up "I should probably wash this blood off would not want to scare any humans to death" he said with a genuine smile that seemed to light up his eyes.

    She sighed and fake smiled back letting himslip away she was close to telling him how she really felt about him. Glad she hadn't she locked her bedroom door and changed before unlocking it she went under the covers but didn't sleep she wondered what she was going to do about it she couldn't just cut Alford lose like her family. She had to get over it and accept it wasn't a possability

    Alford showered then washed his close and put them in her drier it was a bit embarrassing only having the one set of clothing he would have to remember to buy more clothes he waited for the dryer with only a towel wrapped around him "this will take to long" he said as he shifted into the black lab he walked to the gust room and jumped on the bed "much better" he said as he curled up and fell asleep.

    Alexawatched the sun rise and wished she could one day go out there she drifted off to sleep dreaming peacefully until sunset she woke imediatly and started coughing feeling a little dizzy she got uo and went to the kitchen and drank some blood but it still didn't help she started to shake she cursed under her breath

    Alford heard Alexa cough and woke up because he still looked like a red eyed black lab he padded into the kitchen he was worried he would scare her to talk in this form he would have to send a message straight to her head "you okay" he asked?

    You don't scare me she replied shaking her head she put her hand to her mouth and coughed some more when she went to wash her hair ds she saw platter of blood she looked shocked but did her best to hide it "I..think I'm sick"She said shakily because he had never heard of a vampire catching an illness

    " I have never heard of a vampire getting sick before" he said "oh wait I got sick once a drink the blood of a fury it made me sick I slipped into a week long coma after vomiting it was offal" he said trying to think "maybe you drink" he posses "what if some one slipped the blood of an unwilling mythical creature in your drink at the bar that would not only make you sick it would kill you" he said shocked he could not lose her she actually listened to him with out trying to rip his head off.

    Alexa growled "Tony"She fell to the ground and felt a fire like pain ripple through her "That..Backstabbing. Idiot"She growled trying to get back up she gripped the counter and walked a few steps before falling again "Dammit I am not dieing like this"She said frustrated

    "you need to shift into an animal the change should purge the bad blood or hold on he said he ran off shifted and put his outfit back on "you can drink my blood "you only have to have it given willingly from one of any race to try there blood after that you can feed off anyone of the race you want without getting sick as I have feed off of every race it stands to reason that my blood will purge the sickness" he said.

    She shook her head "Im not feeding off you that's just.."She coughed and stood up again "Alford I'm gonna be fine stop worrying"She managed to walk to her room before collapsing on her bed "Phoenix"She coughed before passing out

    "Phoenix but I never got to try Phoenix blood" he thought as he tried to think of where a phoenix might be "well if they have the blood they have the bird" he said as he charged back to the bar he walked in like he owned the place "give me the bird and you can all leave here alive" he growled out his eyes had changed to blood rage level four honor rage or silver eyes.

    Tony laughed in his face "That whor* had it coming. She had to be punished for her sins even your Master knew"He went in the back with a birdcage and came back with a baby fire like bird "Lucky for you I'm following instructions. He needs her alive"He handed him the cage then acted like nothing happened he washed the bar thoroughly

    Alford said nothing more just took the cage and teleported back to the apartment he often forgot that he could teleport probably because he new victor could track him when he did "Hay little Phoenix I know you have been though a lot but I need your help can you please give some of your blood to heal my friend" he said. The young phoenix its voice was like song "vampires all they think about is blood one phoenix tear heals any illness for it processes that one can always rise again like the sun." Alford did not entirely believe the Phoenix but set down the cage and opened the door. The bird flew toured her.

    Alexa was blacking in and out she held her stomach her vision blurred she saw a fire like ball get closer to her she looked scared "Al..Ford?"She groaned not sure what was going on or where she was she felt like she was in a steam bubble and it kept getting hotter

    Alford was at her side holding her hand "it is okay you will be fine" he said the phoenix cried the sound was so heart wrenching that even Alford was almost in tears as the small drops of water landed on Alexa.

    Alexa squeezed his hand feeling a sweet release no more pain she sighed finally relaxing she was worn out her body was tired from fighting she opened her eyes "I did say I wasn't going to die like this..Thanks phoenix"She rasped her throat sore making her voice like a whisper

    the phoenix sang "your welcome remember my words for some day they may save you yet again in darkened woods lit by light a dream reborn in all its might but from the west Harold doom do not trust him for if you do you will see a darker depth then the sea" then the Phoenix flew away. "well that was strange but I am glad you are okay" said Alford.

    Alexa blinked trying to figure out a meaning. It took her a couple minutes "It was talking about my dream place to be, remember a forest lit by. The moon"She looked at him then smiled "Actually let's forget about it for today. Thank you Alford as if you hadn't of been so quick it could have been fstal"
