    My current MC character goes like this:


    Hetero ( 5 ) Bi ( 1 ) Gay ( 2 ) Asexual ( 1 )


    But that's not counting if their romantic orientation conflicts with their sexual, which makes it significantly harder to count. So... what's the opposite of hetero around town? Gay out on the sea? The seamen joke seems overused here.

    OH, that reminds me of when I wrote 4,000 words in two days for a vignette of mine. I just named it Calgary -- it's set in Minnesota. Isn't it fun/horrifying? Or when I wrote another 4,000 for a character's history, and now I need to do that nine more times? AND YOU HAVE ALREADY DONE THE POSTPARTUM, SO NOW I WANT TO GO THE ABORTION ROUTE?

    well, i would love to go there !! torture her a little more, you know. BUT. she's very traditional. her mother was religious and her father, though atheist, was pro-life. maybe if summy was forced to have an abortion? like her cancer was getting in the way of it? maybe? i'm thinking that she'll only have this one litter without any real issues, but all others get progressively worse? i'm thinking about it because she's only going to have litters sparingly because as much as i love the idea of little summers running around, that scares me because it'll terrify her.

    Oh my God, I just want to steal your character plotting abilities. I've currently got a woman that will soon get into an abusive relationship with the ex of her deceased sister. I mean, I've got a little more than that, but I've still got to figure out how to cram an abortion into her history. And then I need to give my biggest-asshole-character severe injuries from a car crash, and then have him bitch it out with some dude he screwed over once. A couple times. Several times.

    FICTIONAL MURDER IS STILL GOOD IF IT'S PLOT-ADVANCING. It's like caps-lock: it exudes passion. And if you have to give someone a couple fractured ribs and internal bleeding to get that, then it's a necessity.

    Okay, so the only part that matters is this: through hypnotism and regression, the main character goes back to her past life in the twelth century, where she lived as wife to a baron (as real-life Maude de Braose). While in her present life, she deals with the implications of these regressions affecting her physically and emotionally.
    ...So youncan see why I dislike writing out blurbs for anything.


    But! I had a good idea about, here me out: were we thinking that perhaps this could be a book rather than roleplay because people don't understand the glory of the berries?

    Let me be brief:


    We take a page of Lady of Hay's book.
    Cherry General and Traveler in first plot, modern day.
    Cherry General in second plot, back in time, past life.
    Traveler in third plot, further back in time, past life.
    "I think that everyone--if reincarnation exists--is doomed to live through the same experiences they did in their previous lives."
    Same plots (save for first), different settings and hints, little aspects twisted around, like a giant freaking easter egg. All character can either be old souls or new souls. I'd probably make references to my ATGKSY characters on the down-low as easter eggs, because past lives.

    It would be hard. It would be complex. We would still need to create fictionalized kingdoms and things for however far back we want plot #3 to stretch. And the biggest thing?


    We make the side characters—that would technically be in the different timelines—progress through the timelines. While the focus is on the MCs, the supporting cast grow and their interwoven plots progress.


    EDIT: HOW COULD I FORGET THE DICKS?

    The main question, sense romance will be heavy part of this, would they end up together? Or would history repeat itself? Would they be in the vinicity of each other? Would their regressions and past souls take them to the same time? Would they have multiple soul iterations, each that get a bit further in their relationships, but that always keep them apart? Would we be keeping the gay couple, or would we with something with chicks in at, as they were pretty much ornaments back in ye old days? Would we have a scene where they get caught somewhere between teh now and the future AND THE NERDS JUST FROTH ALL OVER THE PLACE and holy shit, why does Star Trek make me want to philosophize about the stars so much?
