  • [justify]He was not born here but he might as well have been. He remembered back when he was no more than a kitten. He had fled from a forest fire that had seemed to consume his once emotionless mother. He had not intended to find HawkClan, he didn't even know what that was at the time. But with a broken leg, he was forced to remain there, seemingly helpless. He had found comfort in someone named Skyscraper, who, even with his optimistic behavior, he figured she would not be around anymore for whatever reason. She had taken him under her wing and had given him a family when he really needed one. Over time, he saw her more and more as a mother than anything.

He had lived here, grown up here. He learned everything he knew here, his loyalties were only ever laid here. Even when he grew up and remained slightly undersized, he never lost his childish nature. He suspected that in any other clan, he would have lost that long ago.

But why would be leave that? He did not mean to leave for so long. He had been given word that his birth mother was still alive and he had searched for her. He had found her, spent time with her for a month or two but after that time, she had asked him to stay with her. He hadn't even hesitated as he refused and then he had left. He hated hurting others, but that was the one and only time he didn't care. It had taken him too long to find his way back home.

So the undersized jaguar crouched by his clan's home, relishing in the familiar scent of them. Pikachu had missed that scent so much and now that he was back, he wanted to skip around like a cub again. But he held back, knowing better than that at the moment. He was back and now all he had to do was wait for someone to show up.

  • "Hey, name and business with Hawkclan?" the Vice-Emperor rumbled with a smile as he padded up. He probably hadn't been around when this fellow was here nor was he familiar with the stranger's emotionless mother or surrogate Skyscraper, but it was always good to get returners. However, he didn't know he was a returner just yet so he so he was mentally preparing the usual explanations. Taking a deep breath, he kept his smile and awaited an answer.
