| [fancypost borderwidth=0px; min-height: 150px; width: 305px; margin-left: -18px; margin-top: -7px; color: #5D7C76;] There was fire. And it was everywhere. Burning bright red as it blazed across the territory, the Shadowwatcher unable to move as it raged all around her. There were screams - screams of pain, fear, panic - and there was other various yowling and screeching as she saw various creatures fleeing. She could never make out who, or what, they were, but they were trying to escape. Sometimes, she'd see someone fall, consumed by the fire, nothing there to help them. She saw them again. The brown tabby, helping the black and white cat and the other cat that her roleplayer had forgotten the exact description of, and the siamese. They were all running together, and the black and white turned their head Katrinah's way. Eyes widening, they seemed to say something. And they said it again, and again, and again, as the brown tabby tried to nudge them along. They were eventually picked up by the scruff, and they flailed, wailing the same word, as the fire was suddenly engulfing Katrinah. Grandpaw, she realised. That was what the black and white said. Grandpaw. Grandpaw, Grandpaw, Grandpaw. But then it was gone. There was nothing. She was in a clearing, now. She could feel herself shake and tremble, looking left and right. She started to run forwards, but a creature jumped in her way. Oh, and was that creature terrifying. A huge wolf - a dire wolf, perhaps, although it sported the longest fangs she had ever seen, and curly, jet-black horns. The wolf growled. She ran. But not for long. She felt claws dig into her tail, and she was stopped, her head turning in a panic just as the creature lunged for her, jaws wide open-- And then she woke up. A terrified wail nearly immediately projected from her, as she felt her breathing pace spiral out of control. She was hyperventilating, she was shaking, she was, to put it simply, freaking the hell out. Grandpaw. Grandpaw. Why did that feel so familiar of a name, yet still so unfamiliar? #xkatrinah [/fancypost] |
