Loner's pack isn't so much a pack, but more of a protective system. They have ranks and such like a pack, but unlike packs, wolves of our 'pack' are free to come and go as they please. Our number one rule though, is a bit like the buddy system. You may not leave the territory without Alpha's permission, or another wolf such as a friend or mate. The way to get in is simple: talk to the Alpha and one of them will either except or decline you. I'm sure you'll find it most joyful in our sociality. Here's our ranks, meanings to them, and quantity for all of them all
The ranks/meanings/quantities:
Alpha (1/2): the leader of the group one a female and the other the opposite gendered male
Beta (1/2): second in command wolves. not as powerful as alphas but are most likely to become a mentor to the Alpha's second born
Delta (0/4): Delta's are the third most powerful in the pack. Most of the time, there are two males and two females in this rank. these lucky few are the next ones to become Beta and maybe Alpha if they live long enough.
Shaman (0/1): The Shaman is a spiritual wolf that has direct contact with Lupus, the wolf god. Normally, a Shaman is a pup from the omega rankings.
Medicines(0/4): these wolves know just what to do in life or death situations. There is one in each direction point of the territory. When something happens, these wolves are chosen to go depending on location. These wolves are swift runners, so they never delay. Pups are lucky to get this rank. it only happens every once in a while they take in a trainee
Lead Hunter (0/2): The two main hunters that lead a party somewhere
Hunters (0/20): A big portion of pups become hunters because most have the long slender leg to do so.
Lead Fighters (0/4): the leaders of battle training
Fighters (0/15): some pups are lucky enough to become fighters, mostly because they show some sign at birth or prove themselves just before they become at the right age, such as bravery.
Guards (0/12): Guards do a lot of... well... guarding. they guard the entrance to the alpha, beta, slave, and prisoners den.
Scouts (0/5): Lucky for these guys, they are spies. going to other packs and seeing how they do things, planning things, and other things
Trainees (must be matched with a mentor): these are pups that have reached 6 months old and are ready to be matched with their own mentor. Alphas must choose this.
Mothers (unlimited): the mothers of the pack are the females that have pups on the way, or are nursing pups
Mother's Helper (one to every mother): These are the wolves with disabilities such as a missing leg or shriveled paw. They serve a mother as a servants and usually watch the pups while the parents are out
Pups (must have a mother to belong to): these little furballs are always running around, but aren't allowed out of the den after dark for some things aren't so friendly at night
Elders (0/10): these wolves are the wise ones of the pack. They give alphas advise and are ritual holders
Omegas (0/9): it might sound bad to be the lowest rank, but its not. They have the great job of watching the slaves, along with a guard or two
Slaves (unlimited-ish): this unlucky rank get to serve the Alpha's pups.
Prisoners (unlimited-ish): the males are continuously beaten while the females have a worse fate. The males are dragged by their tails out of their holes and one wolf pins them down while another slowly and painfully rips their claws through the pelt of the male prisoner. Females have it much worse. They are like toys for the male guards. They have bigger cells that they are kept in, but are beaten in a mad way. (i hope you know what I mean...) they are kept separate, except during mating season(spring), that's when the guards have they're fun and watch the males go crazy over a female.
Prisoned Mothers (unlimited-ish): these are the female prisoners who go through spring being tormented and inslaved in the male's fiasco. If they get pregnant, they are taken to a large den with a few others to live in till the pups are reasdy to become trainees.

The Territory:
To the north is a mountain range and cliffs leading up to them. It's tricky to get a good hunt here, so most apprentices are tested here. It doesn't provide much cover though.
To the south it becomes a lush forest of any tree you could imagine practically, great for sneaking around and trying to hide.
To the west is more forest, except the only difference is one of the tree's holds the connection to the ancestors. Its the tree you would least expect it, too.
To the east, the last direction, is a lake, and a huge one at that. The water is most calm at noon here, when you can see your reflection at its best.
The Pack Camp:
Alpha's den is in a cave just above ground of the camp, but the rest of the pack sleeps outside in the clearing below, except the alpha's family(pups, elders, ext.) which sleeps in a cave a bit aways from the clearing near the cliff. It's often visited by the alphas. When it rains, there is a large cave nearby that the pack takes shelter in.

Climate/Season:
Climate: The climate where we live is very warm and wet. In summer its nice and warm, but not to the point of boiling your pelt off. More like low 80 degrees. In Autumn its low 70's. Season: early winter.
Mood of the pack:
The females sense mating season is near and are getting their strut on to impress the males and get a mate.
